Subject: Their Days Are Numbered!
My most Glorious Master,
Humans! Christians! Ugh! They are so pitiful! They strut around with puffed out chests out like they are going to live forever…and I help them believe that delusion until it is too late. If I can’t strike them down by war, crime, pestilence or disease they just succumb to old age and die along with all their dreams and aspirations. They act like they are going to live forever, but their days are so short, they haven’t a clue.
I don’t think many ever really consider how many days they have. Let’s see, three score and 10 is 70 years times 365 equals almost 25,600 days and boom, it’s over! A mother gets about 1825 for the first five years of their kids life and then they are off to school! By then they have watched thousands of hours of TV and my brainwashing machine has done its work before they are turned over to their friends for further education. After 6,200 days or so, they graduate from High School. Some where around 8,000 to 10,000 days, they get married – oh the cycle of life! They work their little tails off for the next 10,000 days and it is time to retire. Their kids are long gone, their bodies are falling apart, their friends are gone, their dreams are fading. If by reason of strength they make it to 80, they haven’t quite made it to 30,000 lousy days and time’s almost up!
The goals they once had are slipping away and they look at retirement, the results of their years of labor and they see grinding poverty. Their 401k and Social Security hasn’t kept up with inflation and the cost of living. They spent their money helping kids get through college, vacation, houses, motor homes and they finally get laid off and find very little in savings, little in retirement and a body that is rebelling from years of disuse and abuse. Now, statistically one or two percent have a nice retirement, but they die too. No one takes it with them, so, so what? Game over! We win again and again!
How many people ever really count their days? How many grasp how few there really are? How many do they just plain waste? How much of their time is spent eating, sleeping, driving, playing, talking, surfing the internet, learning or watching TV every day? How much quality time do families spend with each other? I have them on a treadmill. They get up early in the morning, fight the traffic to work, work all day, fight the traffic home, eat, watch television and fall into bed exhausted. That is life! That is what people have to look forward to! Get on the treadmill and run as fast as you can!
My goal is to end their pitiful little lives as soon as possible. The easiest way is to get them to just vegetate in front of their TVs and eat themselves to death – grow fat, sloppy and lazy, digging their grave with a fork. Smoking works, as does drinking and other vices. But the biggy is to keep them from knowing “you know who.” Our goal is to swell the ranks of hell with as many as possible. Fortunately, humans have no idea how long eternity is – whether Christian or not and they live their itty bitty lives as if this were it and there were nothing more! What a wonderful deception! Live for the day! That’s my motto.
Even Christians are caught up in the same rat race and we add to that church, programs, pot lucks and all. As long as they don’t grasp the concept of eternity, they are neutralized as their miserable days quickly draw to a close. We would be in big trouble if they ever saw the fleeting nature of their days and the meaningless activity they get caught up in. But as long as we can keep them striving for more until they run out of strength, they are little threat to us and our plan. After all, Christians today have a lot more to lose than the poor shepherds, farmers and craftsmen of days gone by. All they had was the clothes on their back and time to contemplate.
All I have to do is keep Christians from reading that “Book”, developing a relationship with “Him” and keep them caught up in keeping their precious little house and home together. As long as they have a greater stake in this world than in the one to come, we don’t have to worry. Eternity seems so far removed to the post-modern Christian, their focus is on improving this world and holding on to what they have. Meanwhile, time is slipping away from each of them one day at a time. They don’t seem to have much in common with those early Christians who gave up everything they had, which frankly wasn’t much anyway.
Modern Christians have so much to lose they concentrate on the world they think they can change rather than the one they can’t see. These pitiable western Christians are so distracted by the cares of life, they have absolutely no understanding of their Book and even less of prophecy, other than the fact that it doesn’t really matter much since they think they will “rapture” before anything bad happens. They are confident they will rise to the challenge if necessary. What a deception! If they can’t sacrifice today, what makes them think they will rise to the occasion tomorrow?
Their big, beautiful, “seeker friendly” mega churches would never upset their congregations with such a negative message. Rather they help fill their time with meaningless activity and endless study, keeping the pew sitters happy and dumb, comfortable with the idea that the blessing of G..D is evident in their big homes and SUVs. Their goal is to vote men into office who will bring back traditional values at home, bring truth, justice and the American way to those who probably don’t want it and protect them from the enemy lurking in the shadows.
They are no threat because their lives are full of activity, their spiritual lives covered by their pastors who do the heavy spiritual lifting while the days fly by. Let the professionals tell them if there is anything important to hear from the Bible. Time is on our side. As long as they don’t catch on until it is too late, what does it matter? Of all generations, this generation of Laodicean lukewarm REI Christians hardly seems to be a threat. They will do anything to protect their precious possessions.
They live like there is no tomorrow and no eternity. They have their precious “life insurance” policy and that’s all that really matters. Their days are numbered in more ways than one and they don’t have a clue. My end game continues to unfold as Christians gradually become irrelevant!
