Letters from Babylon
To: Lucifer, Prince of the World

Subject: Which Babylon?
My glorious master. As you know, several thousand years ago, I was the Overlord of the original Babylon - the most populous, magnificent city the world had ever seen, know as one of the seven wonders of the world. Babylon was the first major city founded after the flood by Nimrod (which means “rebel”) the “first mighty one of the earth” (Genesis 11:8). He built Babel (Babylon) in rebellion against G…, a city with beautiful towers that reached into the heavens. World religion and government joined as one to build a stairway to heaven. I almost succeeded - convincing man that he could become a god. It was a way of uniting all mankind under one world religion and government. We were foiled by the language thing but now I really have a plan.
We will succeed. So are we talking about Saddam’s Babylon? I think not. Babylon still has three aspects: religious, economic and political at a global level. Our goal is still to unite man all in one. Even their Book is clear about this but most followers of “you know who” are too dense to see it. In chapter 17 of the last book, it clearly likens Babylon to a great harlot sitting on a city of seven hills. If that isn’t Rome, I don’t know where else it could be. Duh?
I mean this is like the episode of Lois and Clark when a time traveler looks at Superman and puts his glass on (Clark Kent), and takes them off (Superman) He says, “duh.” Why don’t they get it? People are not only dense, but thanks to historical revisionism, evangelical leaders are calling the Reformation a semantic misunderstanding. Today, we see even the most hard core evangelicals flocking back to Rome and a one world religion. Oneness at any cost. This is music to my ears. They expect some terrible, demonic “New Age” religion, but if they read their own Book, they would know that it will have the appearance and trappings of Christianity and would be tied to the only church that traces its history back to Saint Peter to the present, that maintains status as a country and has embassies throughout the world. The point is, I have pulled the wool over their eyes and it is no longer politically correct to criticize Rome. Oh well, such is my brilliance.
Now forgive me, but again, even their own Book is clear that political and commercial Babylon is described in the 17th and 18th chapter of the last book (Revelation). Now if anyone had an ounce of sense, they would see that this describes the United States of Amerika - the great commercial center, the consumers of the world that everyone has to trade with by ship. Evangelical eschatologists (I love those big words that no one understands) are so locked in to Europe being the center of our power, they ignore the fact that Europe will never be truly united except by Babylon/Amerika - the only dominate economic and military power on the earth. Again, even their own Book is clear (Daniel) that the antichrist is the little horn that comes out of the ten horns. Can’t they see that geography doesn’t matter - that Americans are culturally, linguistically and for the most part, physically Europeans? That’s okay. Let them listen to the misinformation of their so-called experts. You see, my disinformation program reaches into their Bible Schools and Cemeteries (oh, did I misspell that?) but people listen to their professionals rather than read the Book. Thank heaven! (woops, I didn’t really mean that literally)
Now, in spite of what their Book says, I think we have the upper hand. The Church of “you know who” is totally unprepared. They are either expecting to rapture or that the church will take dominion over the earth. The first group doesn’t care about prophecy because they are gone, out of here. The second group plays right into our hands - as they think they are getting their way. That’s right - we are bringing someone’s kingdom to earth but it isn’t His. It’s Yours! As long as those miserable followers of the “carpenter” are so uninformed about prophecy, I see no threat to our plans. Either way, we have both groups eating out of our hands.
Many think Babylon (Amerika) is here to save the world - but I am the Lord of Babylon, and you are the god of this world. Good thing they just don’t get it. They seem to think we are behind the evil in the world, but fail to recognize that we are behind everything - both good and evil! This is our world and everyone in it belongs to our kingdom.
They look under the carpets and in the corners for conspiracies, evil, sinister conspiracies. They are so naïve, they think a group of evil, power hungry men are orchestrating a New World Order. Well I have news for them. The only orchestrated conspiracy is ours. And all the people - both good and evil are subjects in our kingdom. We can use good as effectively as we use evil. As long as we keep their feet firmly planted in our world, they are powerless because this is our territory - where we rule and reign!
Let them think they can march around the cities and overthrow our power by using their little formulas (“in the name of J.C.” ). They think they can knock down an Archangel like me and take over my territory? Ha! They should read their own Book and they would understand that their kingdom is not of this world. But as long as that is one of their goals, fine with me. They can fight all they want as long as the fight is on my turf! Everyone is a part of my conspiracy. I, DRACMA, OVERLORD AND ARCHANGEL OF BABYLON will play with them like toy soldiers. They don’t understand we play both ends against the middle. We control the good as well as the evil. We create the evil and bring a good solution that is even worse that the original problem. Fortunately, they don’t see the ruse.
Sincere evangelicals are incensed, thinking that Amerika is a special country with a special calling, and needs to be turned back to G… They think Christians are abdicating responsibility as good citizens and need to influence the course of society. Well, more power to them. Let them think that. They are playing into my hands. Let them work, the harder the better, get involved, think they can make a difference. They are neutralized and we win!!! We control both sides so it doesn’t matter to us. Let them stomp their feet until they are stuck in Babylon’s mud. Then I offer the final solution - to right the wrongs and bring religion back to its rightful place - but this time, it will be our religion, our government. Long live Babylon the Great!
