There’s a Jackephant in the Room!

There’s a Jackephant in the room—a cross between a Jackass and an Elephant.  Here’s one issue of immense popularity:  WAR ON IRAN!

What in the abyss is going on here?  If you can’t see, smell, hear, or feel the immensity of what happens when you cross a jackass with an elephant, then you’re either incoherent, discombobulated, dysfunctional, illiterate or living in a world of complete unreality.  Folks, this thing’s comin’ down and the Democrats and Republicans—the Neo-Cons and Christian Zionists—are all in on the take; each one trying to outdo the other in bringing the full fury of the US military upon Iran at the 5,000-capacity audience of the annual American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) meeting in Washington, D.C. held this first week of March, 2006.

Listen to the roar of the Hee Ha as the day of Iran’s infamy approaches:

“It is noteworthy that many other governments have begun to include the word ‘sanctions’ in their discourse when discussing Iran. The Iran regime must be made aware that if it continues down the path of international isolation, there will be tangible and painful consequences.” (US Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, Jerusalem Post, AIPAC Sends Tough Message to Iran, March 5, 2006).

And, if the United Nations does not act to isolate Iran through sanctions and other punitive efforts for Iran’s termination of deliberations with the IAEA, then Bolton conjectures:

“. . . failure by the Security Council to act on this matter would be a highly detrimental abrogation of the duties it is charged with under the UN Charter . . . the Security Council must take due note that failure to act in a timely manner and with seriousness of purpose will do lasting damage to the credibility of the Council.” (Ibid, Jerusalem Post)

Now, to the right of Genghis Khan, we have Hillary Rodham Clinton:

“‘We cannot take any option off the table in sending a clear message to Iran that they will not be permitted to acquire nuclear weapons,’ she said.

Her statements closely echoed comments made by interim Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who this week said his country would not tolerate a nuclear-armed Iran.  She also blasted the Bush administration for allowing European countries to lead negotiations with the hard-line regime of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  ‘I believe that we lost critical time with ... Iran because the White House chose to downplay the threats and to outsource the negotiations," she said. ‘I don't believe ... in standing on the sidelines.’” (Newsday, DSCC, Committed to Electing a Democratic Senate, January 19, 2006)

Couple the above with remarks made by the Democratic House Leadership:

“The greatest threat to Israel's right to exist, with the prospect of devastating violence, now comes from Iran. For too long, leaders of both political parties in the United States have not done nearly enough to confront the Russians and the Chinese, who have supplied Iran as it has plowed ahead with its nuclear and missile technology.

“Proliferation represents a clear threat to Israel and to America. It must be confronted by an international coalition against proliferation, with a commitment and a coalition every bit as strong as our commitment to the war against terror.” (Nancy Pelosi, House Democratic Leader, AIPAC, May 24, 2005)

Lest you are not convinced on the existence of the Jackephant:

“Iran is right now potentially the most dangerous nation on the face of the earth.  Should they get nuclear capability, that presents an enormous danger not simply to Israel, but because Iran is an open sponsor of terrorism, it presents a real danger to the United States of America as well, and we must not permit Iran to possess nuclear weapons and we must do more to stop them.  Iran has blood on its hands, not just Israeli blood.  They have American blood on their hands.  They need to be dealt in a way that makes it very clear what our intentions are . . . At the end of the day, the United States must make it clear that we will not permit Iran to possess nuclear weapons.” (Democratic Party National Chairman, Howard Dean, AIPAC, May 22, 2005)

THAT WAS “JACK” – NOW “EPHANT”

Today, March 7, 2006 Vice-President Cheney, again at the AIPAC gathering in D.C. . . .

“The Iranian regime needs to know that if it stays on its present course the international community is prepared to impose meaningful consequences . . . for our part, the United States is keeping all options on the table . . . We will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon” (Reuters, March 7, 2006)

And, for the first time, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld accused Iran of sending into Iraq “special forces” – “Quds Force.”  These are an elite unit of Iran’s Republican Guards, some of whom have been intercepted by the US military. (Al Pessin, The Pentagon, Rumsfeld Says Iran Sending Forces Into Iraq, 7 March 2006).

Rumsfeld’s remarks could only be toped by Iraq’s ambassador to the US, Zalmay Khalilzad, who broke with the Bush administration’s normally upbeat “we and the British will move our troops out of Iraq in 2007” to wit:

“The US ambassador to Baghdad conceded yesterday that the Iraq invasion had opened a Pandora's box of sectarian conflicts which could lead to a regional war and the rise of religious extremists who ‘would make Taliban Afghanistan look like child's play.’”

There you have it—saber-rattling as Iran is referred to a soft landing at the UN—with the US-Israel Axis prepares its options to the uttermost.

Incredible—we’ve only just begun—the Neo-Con, Christian-Zionist Alliance makes the Jackephant pale into insignificant chatter, as John Hagee spearheads efforts on behalf of the Patriotic Church of America:

Certainly the most outspoken advocates for war in Iran . . . and Richard Pearle’s remarks at AIPAC echo the incessant mantra of the Neo-Cons currently in charge of American Foreign Policy—Michael Ledeen,

“The CDI’s (Coalition for Democracy in Iran) Ledeen, Amitay and Sobhani were featured speakers at a May 2003 forum on “the future of Iran,” sponsored by AEI, the Hudson Institute and the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. The forum, chaired by the Hudson Institute’s Meyrav Wurmser, the Israeli-born wife of David Wurmser (he serves as Cheney’s leading expert on Iran and Syria), included a presentation by Uri Lubrani of Israel’s Ministry of Defense. Summarizing the sentiment of neoconservative ideologues and strategists, Meyrav Wurmser said: ‘Our fight against Iraq was only a battle in a long war. It would be ill-conceived to think we can deal with Iraq alone. We must move on, and faster.’

“JINSA (Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs), a neoconservative organization established in 1976 that fosters closer strategic and military ties between the United States and Israel, also has its sights on Iran. At a JINSA policy forum in April 2003 titled “Time to Focus on Iran—The Mother of Modern Terrorism,” Ledeen declared, “The time for diplomacy is at an end; it is time for a free Iran, free Syria and free Lebanon.” (Is Iran Next, Tom Barry, In These Times, Sept. 28, 2004)

THE PRINCE OF PERSIA IS ON THE MOVE TOO

Iran could complete the manufacture of a nuclear bomb as early by mid-March or shortly thereafter.  This is clearly within the time-frame announced weeks ago by Israeli military analysts who predicted that Iran would reach the “point of no-return” by the end of March.  This news is the reason reports began circulating late last year that Israel or the U.S. would have to act by the Israeli election date of March 28. 

Likewise, Iran’s Oil Bourse—dealing in Euro and dumping the dollar—commences on March 20, 2006.  The Iranians are exceedingly pro-active – moving to fill the financial void left when Israel pulled out support for the Palestinians; now that Hamas has taken over the Palestinian Authority, and . . .

“Iran has sought intelligence to determine military and strategic targets for any missile strike on the Jewish state. Israeli officials said Iran has tried to recruit Israelis and foreigners to provide information on military bases and strategic sites in Israel. The officials said the Teheran regime has also sought to penetrate the Israeli leadership to learn whether the military was planning to attack Iran's nuclear facilities.

“‘Over the last 18 months, Iran has been aggressively recruiting all kinds of people to obtain any sort of military and political information on Israel,’ an official said. ‘It’s not clear how successful Iran has been.’” (Iran Seeks Military Intel On Israel, Tel Aviv, MENL)

No, the Prince of Persia is rising—he will not sit back and watch his Day of Infamy lying down . . . not with the Shahab-3 missiles able to reach Southeastern Europe at a range of 2,600km!

FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME or something like that . .

At times it’s hard to get some things straight, so we have to forbear—somehow hoping we’re close to whatever we’re trying to say, and “they’ll get the idea in any event.”  So it is in Iran’s case.  History tends to repeat itself . . . again, and again, and again, and . . . .  But, normally, not this fast.  One might presume behind it all is some conspiratorial Wizard of Oz moving  levers and buttons, pumping out steam, projecting holographs, amplifying thunderous voices—it’s quite an illusion, and very authentic.

Few know that the Wizard of Oz, so some say, was an allegory on the IRS or the illusion of the Almighty Dollar . . . a piece of paper whose sights, sounds, and wonders never cease to amaze the spectators of the world.  Why, its appearance can be quite deceiving, if one were not aware of what’s behind the curtain—pulling levers with ever-increasing verbosity and enthusiasm.  Following our yellow brick road to this Emerald City—haven’t we’ve been down this path before . . . seems eerily familiar?  Yes, the entire production to this day enthralls millions of children and unsuspecting adults, who have no idea what they’re watching bespeaks of the financial system—the New World Order—in fact:  The American New World Order System.

Yesterday, one of my students brought to class a wade of phony bills—who’s talkin’ phony here—like fiat currency isn’t phony?  Anyway, for those on our web site I display the bills which from a distance look so very real; much like standing in front of the awesome Wizard of Oz in petrified fear.

Frankly, I’ve never seen so much conspiracy printed on one piece of paper—but, then again, fool me twice . . . shame on me!

FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD TO KHUZESTAN

The old adage—follow the money trail—you got the picture yet?  Iran’s insistence to go ahead with their nuclear program—no matter what the US et al say has little or nothing to do with the pending conflict, as far as the USA is concerned.  Now, insofar as Israel is concerned—“wiping Israel off the map” is another matter.  The Israeli will to survive is legitimate—their tactics in accomplishing this are driving them into more and more frantic response to terror in their midst . . . Hamas only complicates that response, big time.

Justification for incursion into Iran—capturing the Khuzestan oil fields; taking out her plutonium enrichment, primarily by a joint US-Israeli air bombardment—has, as far as this author and many others are concerned, much more to do with sustaining the dollar’s hegemony as the currency of choice throughout the world, than alleged weapons of mass destruction.

DECEPTION – MANY FALSE MESSIAHS – BUT WARS

We end this update, reminded that deception is part and parcel of the final chapter of history as we mortals know it.  Truly, and thankfully, it’s the end of the world as we know it.  Yes, traveling through Wyoming, stopping in Rock Springs, one can pick up a postcard and witness a rare and mysterious breed high on the Rocky Mountain sagebrush:  The Jackalope.  I know, for I have seen this rare and fascinating creature on these cards—a cross between a jack rabbit and an antelope.  All the locals in the store swore these critters abounded throughout the region, and, if lucky, you could spot them in the early morning hours munching on the tender sprouts of the newly grown sage.

No, things are not always what they appear to be . . .

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.  For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect . . . see, I have told you beforehand.  Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!
