New Age expositor extraordinaire Constance Cumbey and UK prophecy expert Herb Peters have latched on to one, Javier Solana, as the world’s—especially the European world’s—foremost spokesperson and bearer of the infamous 666: The Antichrist! The Foreign Policy Chief of the European Union has been commissioned (early June, 2006) by foreign ministers of the USA, Britain, France, Russia, China, and Germany to convey to Iran a package of incentives to cease and desist their attempts to join the world’s nuclear club.
Solana’s entitlements are legion: The High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Secretary-General of both the Council of the European Union (EU) and the Western European Union (WEU). He was a physicist who became a political minister for 13 years before serving as Secretary General of NATO from 1995 to 1999. Dr. Solana was designated to become European Union Minister for Foreign Affairs in 2006, but is likely to continue in his present role while the future of the EU is decided)

starting to work overtime. I am still at my office spending Friday night both
perusing legal work and research on the topics which fuel this blog and my
future writing. . . . The point of this is that I did take a half hour break

increasingly reddening moon. Yes, there appeared to be a Red Crescent moon
appearing after what had been heavy rains. I went for my digital camera and

search item yields. Maybe a few of them are for the Mexican flight and sports
car aficionado, the other Javier Solana. After checking the numbers, I decided
to check the news and see what ‘the invisible man’ had on his plate as of
late. Again, I have decided that I must be seeing too much in things and
working too hard. I thought that I was reading something again implying that

Cumbey’s Euro-Centric Antichrist bud, evangelical Herb Peters, nails the Solana sighting as the appearance of THE WORLD’S SPOKESMAN by repeating the following news appearing on international wire services:
“EU-Iran-Solana: European Union High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana is ready to present the new package which the West agreed to offer to Iran.
“Cristina Gallach, spokesperson for Solana,
told IRNA Friday evening that the EU has established contacts with Iran
through diplomatic channels and ‘we are waiting for their response.’ She said
the package agreed in Vienna on Thursday by the five permanent members of the
UN Security Council, plus Germany, and the EU foreign policy chief was ‘very
good and we hope very much that things will move ahead.’
‘For us it is a very important decision,’ she stressed, adding that Solana was
ready to convey the substance of the agreement to Iran.
“She
said they did not have the date when Solana was to present the package, noting
that the next days will be holidays in Iran as the country is commemorating
the demise (sic? death) of the Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam

JAVIER SOLANA—THE EURO-CENTRIC ANTICHRIST!
So what’s the big deal about the EU’s Javier Solana bearing glad tidings to the likes of today’s Hitler, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? And, just why are Herb Peters of the UK and Constance Cumbey of the USA so fixated upon Javier Solana as the next Antichrist . . . although from time to time they couch their specificities in sundry ambiguity—yet, they leave little doubt as to the identity of their Antichrist.
Well, please go to our article entitled: Da Vinci Code – DECIPHERING THE ANTICHRIST – Dan Brown’s Hidden Agenda . . . and find out why Cumbey, Dan Brown of Da Vinci Code fame, Ron Howard of THE DA VINCI CODE, Herb Peters of Fulfilledprophecy.com, Tim LaHaye and Hal Lindsey of The Left Behind Series and The Late Grate Planet Earth—along with scores of Premillenarian eschatologists—are so enthralled with the idea that today’s Javier Solana’s visit to Iran is remarkably indicative of the appearance upon the world stage (a sort of unveiling) of the leadership potency of the ultimate MAN OF SIN, the Antichrist!
The idea of Antichrist arising out of a REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE (viz. the European Union) has been around for decades since Lindsey’s Late Great Planet Earth, and for that matter, all the way back to Darby-Newton of the Plymouth Brethren who forecasted Antichrist would arise out of a Revived Roman Empire. Dallas Theological Seminary—and most Premillenarians—ascribe eschatological credence to this same scenario, viz. Antichrist will arise from a “United States of Europe” (i.e., European Union).
Naturally, for this to happen, we will have to dismiss with America (probably through a meteor shower or the disillusionment of the nation through barbaric hoards encroaching our shores from Latin America or an Apocalypse 10.5). Incessantly, the American Patriotic Prophets proclaim: “America is not found in Bible Prophecy” – although veiled allusions to the Bald Eagle are begrudgingly given by Tom Ice et al—(Note: Tom Ice is Tim LaHaye’s personal eschatologist.)
Imagine, Babylon the Great in the end-times’ scenario of Ice-LaHaye does NOT include the USA—(and, remember, we’re talking about 65 million copies sold, primarily in English-speaking nations of the Left Behind Series where this admission does NOTHING to enlighten the masses steeped in eschatological ignorance); here, read for yourself and weep:
“No one disputes the fact that America has a unique history during which it became, and continues to be a preeminent feature in global affairs. The recent war in Iraq is but one example. In a quarter of a millennium it has become a nation unlike any other nation in the history of the world. In some respects, it rivals nations with much longer histories. MEANWHILE THERE’S AN ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM!
What
a kick—you click on brother Peter’s web site with all its falderal regarding
the Euro-Centric Antichrist and then you see this photo of scores of monstrous
cranes at work building the world’s largest foreign embassy—the American
Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq.
Peters has unwittingly dug his own eschatological grave! Here we have perhaps one of Europe’s foremost accomplices (with his American allies like Constance Cumbey, Barbara Aho, Tim LaHaye, Hal Lindsey, Tom Ice, virtually the entire top echelons of the National Association of Evangelicals, the Southern Baptist Convention, John Hagee, Jack Van Impe, and virtually the entire Charismatic Movement, including the Pentecostals (e.g., the Church of God in Christ and the Assemblies of God)) who trumpets the origins of the Euro-Centric Antichrist, along with the blurb of the massive American Embassy in Iraq—site of ancient Babylon:
“It is my view this understanding about the origin of the nations may be the key to identifying the ‘Mystery Babylon’ that we find mentioned in Revelation chapters 17 and 18. In other words, this Babylon may be the nations that God scattered having succeeded in coming back together.
“This brings us to today's news. It seems America -- the melting pot of the nations and creator of the United Nations -- has been busy building a huge embassy in Iraq. In fact, it's reported to be the biggest embassy the United States has ever built, larger than even the United Nations compound in New York City Read about it here I And here.
“News like this naturally brings up some questions. For one thing, why does America need such a large embassy in Iraq? For another, with things so seemingly unsettled in the region, why would America be willing to risk it? After all, it's being said the cost of the compound will exceed a billion dollars. LISTEN UP: HERB PETERS, CONSTANCE CUMBEY, ET AL!!!
There’s an elephant in the room and his name is: THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA—whose monstrous embassy is being built on the banks of the Euphrates—brother Peters, you obviously see it! So why don’t you proclaim who is the real Babylon the Great of the prophetic Scriptures? It is a bit, should I say disingenuous, to skirt all around the issue without telling it like it is! Getting me all excited about the Grand Canyon and then showing me a pit you’ve dug in the dirt is really a let down.
Somehow—and as much as I dearly embrace all the aforementioned as brothers and sisters in Christ (true servants of the Living God)—they are, nevertheless, utterly deceived and deceiving the Body of Christ—especially saints in America—that Antichrist has absolutely little or nothing to do with the United States of America and that he has everything to do with a revived and, frankly, resuscitated Europe (Rumsfeld was correct: OLD EUROPE equates to a DEAD EUROPE)—and to top it off: The pipsqueak antichrist figure, Javier Solana!
One would wonder, as I, that Herb Peters and Constance Cumbey, would
from time to time conspire in their theories in projecting their suspicions upon the greater Body of Christ—and, sure enough, a most interesting
conference was jointly held—along with pastors A. D. Knight and Elder D. L. Eubanks with the inscriptions on the ad:
Have you watched the news lately? Are the ten kings in the book of Daniel and Revelation on the scene? What about the U.N. and the E.U.? Antichrist is he, maybe, here yet? What is the 7 year Budget or Treaty anyway? Watch as well as pray. Maybe we have not looked closely enough. Get answers. Let’s Talk About it. You may also have something to share?

and Peters are so taken up with the canary atop the elephant in the photo (for
those of you who have graphic capabilities—this photo IS worth a thousand
words) that their attention and ubiquitous writings regarding Solana are
peculiarly estranged from “what’s really going on” that one is simply
dumbfounded concerning their prognostications of a Euro-Centric
Antichrist—especially, their piquant bits and pieces on Javier Solana!
Just how can this be? And, quite frankly—and I do wish to
sound CONSPIRATORIAL here: Their Euro-Centric Antichrist appears to be an orchestrated plot on their part to conceal the real source and global influence of Antichrist—I can’t figure out any plausible reasons to the contrary!
AMERICA IS NOT ON THE PETERS-AHO-CUMBEY-DAN BROWN RADAR SCREEN
As
soon as Javier Solana makes a move—the “Euro-Centric Antichrist Circuit” goes
ballistic! Naturally, Dan Brown’s recent book and subsequent film by Ron
Howard, The Da Vinci Code, along with
Barbara Aho’s “plot lines and bloodlines,” fits very nicely into the
excitement regarding Solana’s latest mediatory role as the liaison of the BIG
SIX (USA, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany) conveying to Iran to get
off their nuclear bomb pursuits or else—which begs the question: OR ELSE
WHAT?
Or else the EU—led by the dynamic Antichrist proto-type and/or actual AC will get incensed with Iran?
The secularists Dan Brown-Ron Howard-Tom Hanks et al and their American religious Premillenarian Euro-Centric Antichrist counterparts, along with Brit Herb Peters (who leads the UK charge akin to Tony Blair’s linkup with George W. Bush on the War on Terror)—and to think the lads on the Isle discovered radar—are loathe to admit that Antichrist’s whereabouts could possibly be the same nation/people/leadership aspiring to build the world’s super embassy on the Euphrates?
Please—who in the literal world do you think is calling the shots regarding putting the heat on Iran? Of course, the EU—led by Javier Solana!
And,
apparent to all, the Russians and the Chinese are right in there with their
heavy-duty influence—right? Naturally, Germany, France and our ally, the
Brits, are heaping horrific diplomatic pressure upon the USA to constrain
herself (especially, since all the claptrap about American soldiers killing
innocents in Iraq)—but note: IT’S THE USA THAT NEEDS CONSTRAINT!

My, oh my, for Herb Peters to call the EU the sum and substance of the BEAST is the height of eschatological duplicity and a glaring oversight of prophetic text. Let us carefully read the text again:
“The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition (all concur, this is the Antichrist—no mention of “the beast as yet”) . . . the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings WITH THE BEAST (Note: These 10 are NOT the Beast but receive authority WITH THE BEAST) . . . these are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the Beast . . . and the ten horns which you saw on the Beast (Ref. Revelation 13:1), these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire” (Revelation 17:11-13, 16).
Certainly, it is permissible to describe the “Ten-horned Beast from the Abyss” as the final outburst of Satanic political expression – but as the eschatological metaphor clarifies itself—it is abundantly plain to the prophetic eye, and wholly impermissible to neglect, that the 11th Horn of Daniel is the pinnacle of the Beast—the final manifestation of GENTILE WORLD POWER. This outcropping is so manifest that this Antichrist-Beast is acclaimed: THE BEAST—apart and distinct from the aforementioned 10 horns, 10 kings, 10 kingdoms.
Indeed, this Beast is “OF” or “OUT FROM” the 10 horns (as the 11th horn, Daniel 7:8, 11-12, 24-25) but wholly acquires the entitlement of THE BEAST who accrues the power and authority from the 10 kings/10 kingdoms: “They will give their power and authority to THE BEAST” (Revelation 17:13). We affirm that the nation states of Europe are the Ten Horns. However, at best, they are simply: “The rest of the beasts” (Daniel 7:12a)—but not THE BEAST!
Consistency is demanded in the context of these prophetic texts—consistency which demands that “the rest of the beasts” constitute kingdoms—even so, the 11th Horn demands a separate kingdom which has displaced three of its predecessors! And, again, Britain, France, and Spain constitute abundant identification of these three horns which were uprooted by the 11th horn; Daniel 7:8:
“I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom thereof the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, a mouth speaking pompous words.”
And, as clearly noted—this 11th Horn is not just a “system” or “kingdom” (as are the other ten beasts) but an actual person: The Antichrist. The emphasis upon the personage behind the 11th Horn is astounding—it’s as if the writer demands that we not only recognize the identification of this 11th Horn as a kingdom (identified with the other ten beasts) but, specifically, that this 11th Horned-Kingdom is also an actual person!
Furthermore, the context of the Daniel passages precludes the notion that these “three uprooted horns” are simply the previous three ancient empires of Babylon, Persia, and Greece juxtaposed to the Fourth Beast—i.e., the Roman Empire of antiquity. Why? Because the following verses (especially, Daniel 7:17-28) demand a final venue concluding the history of Gentile World Powers—viz. the End of Days.
ATTORNEY CONSTANCE CUMBEY CANNOT GET A CONVICTION!
Yet, we hear these accolades from the astute lips of Constance Cumbey:
“I have followed Herb Peter's
very astute work on the prophetic implications of European
unification via the internet since 1999. I had noticed many of the same
trends that Herb was reporting as a religious writer for his local paper. We
have been personally talking since early in the year 2000. Herb is one
of the most astute observers and reporters of current events as they
report to prophetic fulfillment that I know. I have known many, but few of
his caliber.

Recommendation 666 almost immediately after it was initially published

There you have it: Javier Solana’s EU Recommendation 666 ties him to the Antichrist (the number of the Beast is 666); and, if that were not enough, Herb’s revelation of EU Recommendation 666—is tied to my SOUL!
No, don’t forgive me—let me say from the outset—please don’t: THIS IS NOTHING BUT TURN-OF-THE-NINETEENTH-CENTURY EURO-CENTRIC PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT! In today’s real world—it’s pure BALDERDASH!
To think that Javier Solana is somehow weightier than the President of these United States of America (sorry to sound so arrogantly American)—along with Uncle Sam’s astounding military machine, economic, cultural, and overall political hegemony—well, it’s like comparing my pachyderm to the sickly crane catching a free ride atop the beast!
The European Union is a farce! Genuinely so! Its disjointed attempts to amalgamate—even united behind its diluted constitution—is an absolute charade. Grief, the MESSENGER (Solana) is not greater (by far) than the SOURCE OF THE MESSAGE (the USA playing its diplomatic card); thence, it’s time “to shoot the messenger” (Get the drift?)!
Notwithstanding the obvious—as “Babylon on the Hudson” continues to orchestrate all things of political worth in the Middle East; all things having to do with Israel; and all things having to do with oil, the world economy, consumption, ad nausea, ad infinitum—the profundities and backslapping amongst Anglo-American prophecy buffs continues unabated, to wit . . . Chapter V: Role of the Union in the world Section 1: Common foreign and security policy (3/24) (Note: This highlighted by Herb Peters in http://www.fulfilledprophecy.com/back_to_shinar.html):
“In December the Vienna European Council expressed the opinion that the Secretary-General of the Council and High Representative for the CFSP (Solana) should be appointed as soon as possible and be a personality with a strong political profile. It invited the Council to prepare common strategies on Russia, Ukraine, the Mediterranean region and the western Balkans, on the understanding that the first would be on Russia. Welcoming the new impetus given to the debate on a common European policy on security and defense, the European Council also noted that the CFSP should be backed by credible operational capabilities.” (© European Communities, Brussels - Luxembourg 1999 European Commission; Manuscript completed January 1999 General Report 1998 – 666 (Note: The EU “666” document is the “astounding” discovery made by Peters to confirm Solana’s role as the soon-to-be-revealed Antichrist!))
As if any of the above meant anything—we witness naught but a diplomatic tempest in a teapot! Thence, Cumbey Esq.’s announcement is underwhelming, and deserves your pensive review—what’s going on here is sad, very sad:
If Javier Solana is the “evident current spokesman for the world” – then that bird atop the elephant should get a driver’s license!
THE BUILDING OF THE EU TOWER OF BABEL CONFIRMS THAT SOLANA’S SURELY THE ANTICHRIST!
Imagine building something that looks like the ancient Tower of Babel in the midst of a Revived Roman Empire? Even so, the EU’s HQ in Strasbourg, France, has a frightening semblance . . .
Dressing up Javier Solana to be more than life, is similar to likening the EU’s Headquarters in Strasbourg, France to be proof positive that Babylon the Great is the EU itself—for the resemblance to the Tower of Babel and the EU’s HQ is indeed frightening!
However, dressing up like a jackass does not a jackass make! Or, put another way—call yourself an elephant all day, will not constitute you to be an elephant; or worse yet, it has been my misfortune to walk through wards where the mentally-deranged repeatedly cried out they were the Christ—yet I could discern otherwise and so could most people who witnessed their tragic fate (at least I would hoped they could have—although today, in retrospect, after listening to the American-British prophets, I dare say, doubt has crept into this assumption).
When fascist Mussolini concocted the latter-day notion that Italy (along with maps to prove his pointless conclusions) would reach its former glory—expanding throughout the nations surrounding the Mediterranean Sea—the same proponents of Saddam’s resurrecting Babylon the Great trumpeted El Duce’s Revived Roman Empire as the missing prophetical link and precursor to the end of the world.
Indeed, as Scriptures acclaim: “And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God . . . and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world” (I John 4:3).
ANGLO-AMERICAN PROPHETS AGREE: BABYLON ON THE EUPHRATES IS THE FUTURE-LITERAL BABYLON THE GREAT!
So, the European Union has confirmed our worst suspicions and is now the citadel of Babylon the Great, cradling the future and final Antichrist—who, in all likelihood is none other than the Cumbey-Peters: Javier Solana. This is akin to saying Saddam Hussein’s revival of Ancient Babylon (a miniature reproduction of Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon upon its ancient site—and, I hasten to add, visited by scores of American-British prophetical “experts” prior to the 101st Airborne blasting it to smithereens) proves proof positive that the EU’s extension will encompass Babylon the Great upon the Plains of Shinar—the future capitol of Antichrist!
Anglo-American prophecy “experts” like Charles Dyer of the Moody Bible Institute absolutely confirmed “the Bible’s end-times’ prediction of Babylon the Great” and its revival as a world-class city in the heart of today’s Iraq.
In point of
embarrassing “fact” – scores of Anglo-American evangelicals ascribed
“Babylon’s fulfillment” in the very midst of Saddam’s demise by “Babylon on
the Hudson!” In particular, Dyer’s text entitled
The Rise of Babylon (1991 & 2003); along with the rest of a host
of false predictions (e.g., Saddam’s Mystery Babylon by Arno
Froese (1998); A Palace for the Antichrist by Joseph Chambers
(1996); World News and Bible Prophecy by Charles Dyer (1993);
The Second Coming of Babylon by Mark Hitchcock 
(2003);
From Iraq to Armageddon by Keith Intrater; Iraq,
Babylon of the End Times by
C. Marvin Pate and J.
Daniel Hays (2003); What’s
Next: God, Israel and the Future of Iraq by Charles Dyer (2003)
(2003—no doubt a banner year for selling Iraq as Babylon the Great by Charles
Dyer!)—all the experts simply missed the
US Army’s 101st Airborne assault on the site of ancient
Babylon; that’s all!
How could so many sincere brethren be so totally skewed in their prophetic assumptions? Especially, how could so many evangelical eschatologists, who should be alerting the Body of Christ to the immediate times we believers are facing and how to inwardly and outwardly prepare for these most tumultuous times, be utterly unaware that the very place in which they live is the real Babylon the Great? No, this is NOT the popular view—but it is most definitely the Biblical view—and, by the way, who said that prophets are here to win a popularity contest?
Furthermore, to give so many distinguished brethren a pass on their “literal Babylon” considerations is undeserved . . . to the contrary, it is time we stopped kidding ourselves and hiding America’s identity while acclaiming Saddam’s Babylon and Europe’s Solana and the EU as the fulcrum of Antichrist’s base of operations! Where’s the courage of our Biblical convictions? Will anyone among these “experts” acclaim: THE KING HAS NO CLOTHES?
I’ll never forget a most precious friend and brother in the Lord shared with me prior to Saddam’s demise that he fully “believed the literal truth of the Bible” that Babylon the Great would be rebuilt in Iraq in its original location—if not by Saddam, then by someone else, perhaps a European leader? When I confronted him with the possibility (and this was back in 1999) that the USA was the Babylon of the Last Days and that the US military would some day confirm that Saddam and Iraq were but pawns in America’s global quest for Empire—he would not hear a word of it—but, to the contrary, suggested that I was nothing more than an “American hater!”
Please—hating America has NOTHING to do with these convictions regarding Mystery Babylon the Great—and everything to do with the Bible’s straightforward presentation of the facts of the matter.
While
Hollywood and the Premillenarian Anglo-American eschatology community fixates
on European conspiracies and political revival in producing the final
Antichrist—most of the world is altogether clear regarding who is the Babylon
of the Last Days and where the source of Antichrist’s power base is located.
Thus, we end the story of the “world’s evident current spokesman” whose pending journey to Iran—conveying America’s latest diplomatic maneuverings—is considered by well-meaning brethren to be a sign of his propriety; but alas, amplifies a disturbing secular and religious trend among Americans, and some Brits, that Antichrist continues to camouflage his true identity and obvious roots!
Notwithstanding—and I am assured these same brethren will confirm with me—we await the true Messiah’s intervention into our abysmal affairs as we approach the End of Days:
“But the court shall be seated, and they shall take away his (Antichrist’s) dominion, to consume and destroy it forever, then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom (Messiah’s) is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him” (Daniel 7:26-27).
