THE EVANGELICAL RIGHT“STRATEGY FOR POLITICAL POWER”
These two articles, combined in one, were released in November and December of 2004, and were designed to draw attention to the burgeoning relationship between American “Power Politics” and today’s “Creatine Christianity” (i.e., Meta Church Movement of American Evangelicalism).
The convergence of these two forces is epitomized in the person of Majority Leader Tom DeLay. Rep. DeLay claims alliance to Christ, and to the takeover of the US Congress by the Republican Right—and there will be NO COMPROMISE, as far as the Honorable Tom DeLay is concerned!
During the end of 2004, we will insert a series of articles written by Douglas R. Shearer. Shearer wrote a series of articles entitled POLITICAL POWER in the late 1980s in which he too drew an “eschatological focus” on this end of days phenomenon. His articles were prophetic—you’ll see far too many parallels in his treatise by today’s discoveries.
DeLay’s embrace of the evangelical message and agenda, while incorporating the foot soldiers of American Evangelicalism, has created, for the first time in nearly a century, a true majority in the US Congress for the Republicans, who also occupy the Executive Branch.
But this time things are different: DeLay has ostensibly “taken over” K Street (i.e., “The K Street Agenda”) wherein lobbyists have caved into his wishes (corporations were predisposed in any event . . . it’s now just a formal arrangement); plus, Moderate Republicans (and most assuredly their prominence on various committees as chairs, etc.) has gone the way of the doo doo bird. With evangelical fervor, DeLay’s crusade to dominate the US Congress (House, and eventually the Senate) is without parallel in the annals of American political history!
There’s money here; big bucks! There’s power here, POLITICAL POWER! And there’s lots of RELIGION; big time RELIGION! The convergence of these three items is so PROPHETICALLY GLARING, that to miss the semblance of BABYLON THE GREAT one would have to ascribe to the “Left Behind Series” of Tim LaHaye! Here, America simply dissolves as a result of the Secret Pretribulational Rapture of the Church . . . with, no doubt, Tom DeLay leading the charge out of Dodge!
Again, make no mistake about it: BABYLON THE GREAT is GREAT because of three major items: Revelation 16:19—“Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.”
She is described as:
(1) APOSTATE RELIGION: “Mother of Harlots”
(2) EXPLOITIVE COMMERCIALISM: “King of Tyre”
(3) POLITICAL DOMINANCE: “King of Babylon”
Her demise is described in Revelation 17 (Apostate Religion); Revelation 18 (Exploitive Commercialism); and Revelation 19 (Political Dominance).
In the latter days a FINAL KINGDOM and KING shall arise from the midst of Western Civilization and be the very APEX of all that is the West. She shall be a PROTECTOR OF ISRAEL and shall deceive the nations . . . with cries of PEACE, PEACE! So . . . what do we witness here? Go in with eyes wide open!

Just when you thought that the depths of “evangelical ministries and churches” seeking after filthy lucre and the “mammon of unrighteousness” could not get any more ostentatious—we’re hit with the recent LA Times articles on the financial excesses of the Trinity Broadcasting Network—the world’s largest evangelical programming network!
Nothing like having the “world” hang out your dirty underwear for all to see and scorn. WHY IS IT THAT THE WORLD MUST SIT AS JUDGE AND JURY TO PRONOUNCE OUR INTENTIONS ARE WRETCHEDLY DEFILED BY THE GOD OF MAMMON? The Bible declares: “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (I Peter 4:17)
To understand the appeal, the absolute, mesmerizing, and intoxicating drive behind Hitler's success, one must go beyond the inequities of the Versailles Treaty and delve into the mysterious association that Herr Hitler placed upon the Christian religion. Don't think that Adolph was way off into some cultic, overtly demonic world of fantasy and influence. True, the occult most assuredly was deeply engaged in his thinking and outlook—but the use of legitimate Christian imagery was his forte. He both understood the need to mobilize the masses and the religion that alone could sway their fidelity to his cause.
Furthermore, throughout his declarations and apparent pontifications, is a unique ability to uplift and galvanize the German people—to so highly esteem them and to generate within them the self-esteem that would produce a people whose image of whom they really were would be unalterably changed and transformed into what was enunciated by der Fuhrer. They became transfixed and transported into another state of mind and being—from despair and rejection, to an exhilarating euphoria and total acceptance. They could BE ALL THAT THEY COULD BE and then some. Here is no buffoon strutting upon the stage of German dejection and riveting the German mind and will upon himself—no, no, no!
Here is the uniqueness of Adolph Hitler--one who could so enunciate with utter clarity what the German soul could be in its fullness and creative genius. Neither did his spoken word proclaim his own commitment and genius--it climaxed within the Germany he envisioned in such a rapturous expression and discovery of who they were, and what they could become, with God Almighty vindicating every breath they would take! Hitler injected into nearly every German heart a DIVINE SPARK, which morphed into an inferno of destruction and death unforeseen in human history--but its initial descension upon its benefactors was replete with a baptism of power and light so transcendent that it captured an entire nation in the heart of Christian Europe. These articles you are about to read were a compendium of journals I compiled while on a trip I took with Steve Shearer across America beginning around February 20, 2003 and continuing through March and into April, 2003. The War in Iraq had not yet begun. The “Gog-Magog War” as recorded in Ezekiel 38-39 was much on my mind as events rapidly unfolded in the Middle East. I think you will find these accounts exceedingly interesting (slightly edited from my originals, with essential content and facts kept) – they are an amazing recordation of immediate history and of prophetic accuracy . . . virtually all these articles were written and appeared on the web prior to March 19, 2003—the date of hostilities and commencement of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

How the Democrats lost the heartland of American PopulismLiberal Democrats don’t get it. America’s “book ends” don’t get it. Kerry’s on a boat somewhere and will wait until next week and film it. Barbara Streisand has never even seen it and wouldn’t know it if it were starring her right in the face. George Soros is scared to death of it; while, Move-On.org knows it’s coming right at them—but, alas, Thomas Frank, allegedly, a recent convert from it, really can’t figure it out either—though try he may. Thomas sees and attempts to analyze it in “What’s the Matter with Kansas: How Conservatives Won the Heart of America,” but discovers “a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.”
Now, I’m not saying that I really see it all either—however, since East Coast transplant Frank, from affluent Johnson County near Kansas City, KS tried to figure it out—why can’t I give it a shot, since my ancestors who hail from the heartland are the victims of his analysis; and, besides, I’ve been transplanted to the Left Coast? Furthermore, I bear strong Populist Democratic roots `a la William Jennings Bryant, that Olympic-size looser of Democrat Presidential aspirations and Christian fundamentalist, all wrapped inside an enigma.
Truthfully, however, I’m a bit ambivalent in addressing the obvious—but for the sake of the effete left-wing of Americana who can’t see the forest for hugging the trees, nor distinguish adult stem-cell research from embryonic-stem cell research, I am pressed to do so and sidestep the remarks made by author Bill Watterson: The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
