French Reject EU Constitution—We Await Chirac’s Resignation!

The anticipated rejection by the French of the much vaunted United States of Europe, and its Constitution (the vote in France was 45% for and 55% against), conclusively demonstrates, once again, European political and economic ineptitude compared to that of the United States of America—the Dutch are soon to follow the French (Notwithstanding, the toilet (a French word) was invented by a Brit by the name of Thomas Crapper not by a Frenchman.)
Imagine, the extremity of European cultural diversity, language, religion, and history have all come full circle to highlight centuries of particularism, political fratricide, and religious intolerance—none of which could convince the European mindset that “unity with variety” would lead to a multipolar world in which Europe would function as the political/economic counterweight to the unipolar world of the United States of America.
The French originally spearheaded the European Union’s quest for economic and political integration . . . with the British providing noble resistance and forever frustrating “efforts” indirectly on behalf of the USA (Note: The USA from time to time gave tepid support, but all along it was only because it might be to her economic and political advantage.) The entire notion that the French would abandon their social safety net by opening up their labor markets to plumbers from Poland was ludicrous

As a result of all this Euro-nonsense and eco-politico-posturing (man, what a waste of time and money), the much-touted EURO—that economic counterweight, that renaissance of European leadership—collapsed to its lowest 2005 level against the almighty dollar ($1.25 EU).
No matter what kind of united face-saving device you put on this (Note the inane remarks of Gerhard Schroeder of Germany): The European Union (as a counterweight to the USA) is dead!
And . . . something else smells liked it’s dead . . . and that’s what we here at the Tribnet wish to point out to those who know that the New American World Order System is not about to be challenged by our European forebears and erstwhile upstarts who know NOTHING about how to become a unified economic, military, and political power under girded by moral authority based upon the so-called Judeo-Christian ethic. What might that eschatological conclusion be? You guessed it: It is a total farce to conceive, since the turn of the 20th Century, that USA ascendancy could ever be challenged by the effete Europeans and, consequently, the BASE of Antichrist is not found in the squalid political and economically deficient European quagmire but in the New Rome: The United States of America.
Furthermore, the Europeans, especially the isolated French, are so intimidated (and rightly so) by FREE MARKETS (viz., the overt intrusion by the multi-nationals—led by US corporate interests—epitomized by the WTO, IMF and World Bank)—that their idiotic celebration of the EU Constitution’s defeat only belies the vacuous pride they have in their insipid ignorance of the world formed by the Merchants of the Earth who delight to feed at the trough of Babylon the Great. Don’t think my seemingly prideful remarks are aimed at the French—no; they’re aimed at the evangelicals of the USA who haven’t a clue as to what’s been happening (politically, economically, and even religiously) since Manifest Destiny under Teddy Roosevelt kicked the Spanish out of the New World.
First of all, and for those of you out there who ponder the following “food fight” amongst us Premillenarians as naught but asinine theological posturing (perhaps interesting but absurdly irrelevant in the sum total of whatever counts), let me assure you—there’s a whole lot of present-day implications on what’s going down around us and how we live in our world as a result of these “ridiculous” observations.
Here’s where we start . . . a few quotes and comments (yours truly) from well-meaning, but totally off the mark brethren who wish to remain patriotic Americans will suffice:

Imagine, brother Hal could say these remarks knowing the demise of the EU Constitution, and, ipso facto, the United States of Europe—what prophetical insight do we witness here! Come on Hal, get with the program. Your prognostications are so outmoded that even you know that the canary (really a crane) on the elephant is not the base of Antichrist, but the elephant itself!!
I repeat on behalf of the hard of seeing, the bird represents the fine efforts of Chirac and Schroeder, the elephant—apparently utterly indifferent to the free ride he’s providing for the crane—represents the European nemesis, the American New World Order System.
HAL’S TEN TOES AND THE THREE HORNS RIPPED UP—A LESSON IN WORLD HISTORY 1
A meaningful, but brief digression, is in order before I get back to well-meaning brethren (and, incidentally, since most of them are Premillenarian, believing that the Kingdom of Heaven is yet to manifest itself upon the earth through the miraculous intervention of the Second Coming of Christ, my only intention here is to hit them over the theological head to get their attention vis-à-vis American hegemony and the consequences of its neglect).
First of all, a short lesson in world history might be in order; and, since I’m credentialed to teach the subject (man, I’m even certified as a “No Child Left Behind” instructor in the subject), I already have my reward . . . but let’s take a gander at the evolution of the Image seen in Daniel and alluded to in Hal’s above and most recent remarks.
What Hal alluded to was the Image of Daniel and the allusion to the Ten Toes of that same Image and its counterpart found in the book of Revelation where it is referred to as the 10 Toes/10 Kings/10 Horns (Daniel 2:41-42; 7:7, 20, 24; Revelation 12:3; 13:1; 17:3, 7, 12, 16)
The above picture of the Image seen by the Gentile world leader of the Neo-Babylonian Empire (Nebuchadnezzar) envisioned the development and/or evolution of Gentile World Power set within the context of the Jewish exile; and, the commencement of “Jerusalem trodden under foot of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” (Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2) is/was confirmed by Jesus in His discourse on the latter days, and, subsequently, referred to by John in the Apocalypse.
The point of the matter here, insofar as metals relate to this revelation, is that the Babylonian head of gold evolves into the silver of the Medo-Persian Empire, which in turn evolves into the Grecian bronze, and ultimately into the two legs of iron represented by the Roman Empire. This imagery of Gentile World Powers and their evolution is decidedly a progression of WESTERN CIVILIZATION, not of Islam, Asian, African, or any other civilization which would/has dominated the planet (thank you Dr. Huntington)!
Next, the Ten Toes of this Image are described as a mixture of both clay and iron—some strong and some weak—and clearly are an extension of the legs of the Roman Empire from whence they protrude (Daniel 2:33-45). It is likewise true that these 10 toes/horns are representative of ten kings and that these ten kings are European powers which in some way, shape and form constitute the original environs or sphere’s of landed-influence of the Roman Empire. Up to this point Hal and Doug concur; however, it is precisely at this point our convergence has a drastic departure!
Rome’s alleged demise in 476 A.D. (The Decline and Fall of Rome by Edward Gibbon) is, putting it mildly, a distortion of the historical account. Rome NEVER died—her simple metamorphosis, and I hasten to add, its ability to BORG (i.e., absorb all its enemies into the “collective”) all that came against her (be they the Phoenician Merchants, the Greeks and their culture, and the Christian religion). The idea that was Rome may have “outwardly” transformed, but the ideal of Western Empire never ceased—Western Man, though seemingly weakened (clay), nevertheless, through world colonization, began to WALK THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH! (i.e., some clay nations were weaker in Europe than some of the “iron nations” or “toes” . . . for example, France was stronger than Belgium).
Yes, the Image began to walk—pray tell, for what purpose do those feet and toes stand? Just to stand? No, no, no—a thousand times no! “Them feet and toes are for walkin’.” And, walk they did—all over the planet: Africa, the New World (North and South America), the Middle East (to this day), Asia, Australasia, the vast regions of the Pacific and even Antarctica. Scarcely an inch of earth escaped the Image! A little walk through Africa will assist your memory:

Now, thanks to our insightful brother and co-conspirator, Brian Piltz in Seattle, we discover a most revelatory exegesis of the following Scripture found in Daniel 7:8, 20-24:
“‘I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little (i.e., “younger”) one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words’” ((vs. 8)—Note: This is, I affirm, an immediate introduction of the Antichrist himself and of his base/kingdom.)
“‘and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up (i.e., the ELEVENTH HORN), before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows. I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.’ Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces. The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings’” (vs. 20-24).
The sequence of disclosures recorded in Daniel 7 leave little doubt that the “little horn” who shall arise after them (i.e., after the Ten Horns/Toes) shall be different from the first ones (i.e., the first Ten Horns), and this “younger horn” shall subdue or “root up” three kings. Brother Piltz deduced that these three kings hail not “from Orient are” but are the three dominant European empires which encompassed nearly all of North America: The English, the French, and the Spanish--Britain, France and Spain. Through the Revolutionary War, the Spanish-American War, and even the French and Indian War (among other disquieting connivances), the Americans “subdued” these three kings/horns/toes and effectively over the last century and into the 21st Century, with their pompous declarations and fierce countenance and soon-to-be revealed World Leader/Antichrist, will/have devoured the whole planet!

Oh, well, you get the point: England, France and Spain were uprooted by the younger horn when this horn DEVOURED (i.e., uprooted or subdued) the original three. Sure, it took a while, but the ten horns who arose from the fourth beast (i.e., the original Roman Empire), and the three horns/kings (of the ten horns) who originally dominated North America eventually gave way to the one who arose after them (Daniel 7:24): The United States of America. I conclude: Some times the most obvious is the most difficult to see!
Let me be perfectly clear—count them, please:

. . . walked the face of the entire planet and colonized the world!
These primary nations’ histories are wrought with expansion and colonization—to adjudge otherwise is a complete revision of world history.
Incidentally, Hal Lindsey and many other evangelical “prophets” do great injustice to the Word of God by assuming that the “little horn” of Daniel 7 is but the Antichrist—he/they do not understand or refuse to understand that this little horn is also a modern-day nation (kingdom) like the rest of the original ten from whence it arises, and, in so arising, it literally uproots/uprooted three of the most prominent members of that original set of 10.
THE WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS LEFT BEHIND NOVEL by Tim LaHaye
We now substantiate the buffoonery of eschatological claims embedded in the “Left Behind” series; to wit: That Antichrist arises from a unified, and altogether superior Europe (Note: The USA has been destroyed by this time through a combination of economic and/or natural meteoritic disasters akin to the Depression and/or the recent Indian Ocean Tsunami; but most likely as a result of nearly half the country’s righteous population ascending in the Secret Rapture, causing the earth to affirm, once again, Europe’s place in history!)
First, a little background from the British Guardian on LaHaye’s search for apocalyptic truth:
“The first in the Left Behind series appeared in 1995, complete with the usual PR genesis myth. LaHaye, an author and evangelist (but not, at this point, a novelist), was flying to Europe on a Boeing 747 when, as if by divine inspiration, an idea struck him. In Left Behind, the resulting novel, all the good Christians on a 747 to London are suddenly transported to heaven, leaving little piles of clothes and uneaten lasagna behind them. The same happens all over the planet. Call it the rapture or the rip-off: Stephen King had done the disappearing passenger thing in The Langoliers in 1990. But why should the devil have all the good stories?
“Left Behind sets up the narrative framework for the subsequent volumes. Rayford Steele, the pilot of the enraptured jumbo, lands at Chicago to discover that his wife, Irene (‘attractive and vivacious, even at 40’), and most of the congregation of the church of which she is a born-again member have been beamed up. The novels go on to chronicle the seven-year tribulation for those, like Rayford and his daughter, Chloe (a formerly free-thinking Stanford student), who were left behind. Unceasing battle rages between the remnant (gun-loving American Christians) and the evildoers, easily recognized by the mark of the beast on their foreheads. From here he fights the bad fight with all his might. The good fight is led by Trib Force: a motley guerrilla group with, at their head, ex-747 pilots, Jesus-accepting Jews and fiendishly clever (evangelical) orientals who can do anything with computers.”
The Guardian, though somewhat crude, gets the Left Behind scenario right. The point I bring out here about LaHaye’s scenario is this bogus and utterly discredited “Euro-connection.”
What is disconcerting is LaHaye’s political agenda which parallels his and other American evangelical leaders in their quest to maintain American dominance (at the expense of European incompetence and their ultimate embodiment of evil) and support for Democratic Globalism! A tip of this little deceitful berg will enrage you, I hope, as the Guardian article continues:
“LaHaye's current political machine is the Council for National Policy. He founded it with the help of like-minded Texas billionaires (a club which, if the Left Behind series continues to sell at its present rate, he may one day be eligible to join) and was its first president. It is a secretive organization, made up of some 500 invited members, including former senators (Jesse Helms), congressmen (Tom DeLay), figureheads of the radical right (among them, Larry Pratt, leader of Gun Owners of America, the fanatic pro-lifer Ralph Reed and the convicted criminal Oliver North), and such high-profile evangelists as Pat Robertson. Ashcroft was a member before he joined the administration. CNP meetings are closed to the public and the press, but it's likely that they see their job as being the formulation of policy on ‘Christian Reconstructionism’ - the closing of the pernicious gap between church and state.
“LaHaye recently joined forces with Jerry Falwell to establish the Tim LaHaye School of Prophecy, which offers an intensive one-year diploma program at Falwell's Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. ‘We have undertaken this effort with the idea that the school will educate the next generation of Bible prophecy authorities,’ (my emphasis) Falwell said. ‘Dr LaHaye will serve as president of the school and will be involved in many lecture series in the program.’ But will there be a next generation?
“Whether or not Bush is shoulder to shoulder with LaHaye on all points, the forces represented by end time’s doctrine press on current American foreign policy. The White House is not merely disinclined to deal with the UN, but sees it as morally contemptible, if not quite (yet) the instrument of the Antichrist. So, too, ‘Old Europe’, or at least the EU. According to Mark Hitchcock, ‘an elected president of Europe would set the stage perfectly for the rise of the Antichrist.’ ‘Peace’ in the Middle East is a snare and a delusion. The way to salvation is more conflict: Armageddon” (Note: Mark Hitchcock is the author of “The Coming Islamic Invasion of Israel and Is the Antichrist Alive Today?).
Man, are you clear yet? Get a load of the expression: “Educate the next generation of bible prophecy authorities.” Can’t imagine that Antichrist ascends from any other locale other than the USA. Hate to pop your conspiratorial bubble (especially Barbara Aho’s), but the Antichrist is not the King of Romania, nor a Jewish Merovingian reincarnation of King Solomon! That’s right . . . and here all along you thought that the Antichrist had something to do with the leadership of the West! Aho’s school of “Bible prophecy” and her Satanic bloodlines of the Antichrist are so “out there” that to countenance their viability is to substantiate one form of hallucination over another (i.e., take your pick: LaHaye’s Romanian vs. Aho’s Clovis of 481 A.D.).
The key here is the “European Connection” gone awry: Either way (LaHaye/Lindsey or the Aho conspiracies)—both take the eschatological paradigm found in Scripture and convolute it (Aho all the more) so that America the Beautiful, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, comes out smelling like the “Rose of Sharon” when all along it is flat out the seat of Antichrist and the ultimate consummation of the Image found in Daniel!
Listen to this eschatological baloney and then you will have no further difficulty in understanding why the secular world looks upon us as a bunch of nincompoops and scholastic dwarfs:

Certainly, quoting from the authentic, and highly anti-Semitic “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion” (indisputably proven to be a complete fraud) does not stop Aho from making the Antichrist out to be a Jew! And, no less a reincarnation of King Solomon.

It never ceases to amaze me that the circuitous claptrap heaped up as TRUTH by the likes of Aho and fellow Jew-haters and numbskull conspiratorialists who blame everything on Freemasonry and/or the Hapsburg/Merovingian Dynasty (tracing it all back to some monstrous Jewish conspiracy to rule the world), are accorded such a wide audience on the internet. Then again, well do the masses follow after old wives fables and endless genealogies to their peril!
Again, the point to be made in all of this by these “false prophets” of today’s “biblical eschatology” (and their designs in perpetuating such falsehoods through “educating a new generation” in their deceits), is their complete denial of America’s subterfuge and complicity in the end times drama now unfolding in our midst—instead they lull the unsuspecting and believing multitudes to focus on spurious conjectures having nothing to do with the Word of God, and, most certainly, nothing whatsoever to do with end times prophecy.
The world of John Nelson Darby has radically changed. America’s ascendancy has changed the entire geopolitical landscape—a landscape that was irrevocably altered by the Great War (I & II), and the ascension of American Empire. What is it that you don’t understand Ms. Aho and Messrs. Lindsay, LaHaye, Hitchcock and Falwell about the present reality upon the planet? Nevertheless, they (the likes of Alan Franklin, himself a Brit) press on through the fog of eschatological falderal; to wit:
“Major Prophecies in Daniel 2 and 7 indicate that the Holy Roman Empire will be the dominant force in the world when our Lord returns. Twenty five hundred years ago Daniel saw the Roman Empire revived from the dead in the end times. Those prophecies are today being fulfilled in Europe. I have often spoken about the rebirth of the Roman Empire in the form of The European Union, the super state of 25 nations that has replaced most of the individual countries of Europe, a country with its own flag and parliament.
“Then, in September, came quite a shock: one of those histories being created before your eyes (in) moments. The EU, at an astonishing art exhibition sketching the future of the organization, described itself under the heading: ‘Roman Empire Returns.’ According to this EU exhibition, staged in a brightly colored circus tent outside the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium—core of the EU–the EU will be renamed ‘The Union’ once it grows to 50 states over the next three decades. The euro will break the ‘overwhelming monopoly of the Dollar’ by 2010 as India and China switch their reserves in order to punish America for its ‘stratospheric deficit.’ Anti-Americanism has long been a keystone of EU policy, largely shaped by countries like France and Socialist governments throughout the continent. The exhibition has Uncle Sam in the role of the villain of the modern world and says: ‘the lonely superpower can bribe, bully or impose its will almost anywhere in the world, but when its back is turned its policy is weakened.’ This display, with the overall title ‘The Image of Europe,’ was coordinated by the European Commission and sponsored by the European Council. The EU's Dutch presidency said it was aimed at narrowing Europe's ‘iconographic deficit’ by conjuring up forceful images. According to the official website EUpolitix.com, world renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas has pitched his circus tent in the heart of the Brussels EU area ‘in a bid to communicate Europe to its citizens.’ In his depiction of the current 25 states of the EU, Koolas has combined images of porn stars, pop stars and political leaders, saying he was deliberately sketching the schizophrenic condition of Europe today. ‘We are operating in a field that is polarized by extreme vulgarity, hedonism, shamelessness and market driven modernization,’ he said. After its period in Brussels the exhibit will be traveling icon-style around Europe and will be translated into various languages. However, although this gives a glimpse of the values driving today's Europe, where modesty is a thing of the past and extreme vulgarity appears nightly on the Continent's TV screens, this was not the most amazing thing that happened as the new empire unfurled its tentacles.’” (Alan Franklin, “EU: Final World Empire”)
This stuff, if it were not so absurd, would be scary—scary because of the preposterous notion that America is somehow being eclipsed (politically, militarily, culturally, economically, and even religiously) by the likes of Old Europe (at least the East Europeans are clear!). Yet, evangelical eschatological buffs, unable or unwilling to point the finger of guilt at themselves (entrenched in the “marketing portfolio” of Americana themselves . . . we’ll speak to that later), cast caution to the wind as they celebrate America’s triumphal Christendom—assured they have NOTHING to do but await the rapture while they drive off in their SUVs!
The classic study done by Dr. Fredrik Bergström, President of the Swedish Research Institute of Trade, enraged Europeans and surprised Americans for its forthright discoveries in his watershed document: EU vs. USA. I mean, we’re clear that the USA outspends the entire earth in defense (nigh $500 billion and counting per year) and that our economy (vs. the EU) bears no resemblance. A more realistic prognosis bears entry from Marc Schulman’s MAPPING THE GLOBAL FUTURE:
“As for Europe, its strength could be in ‘providing a model of global and regional governance to the rising powers.’ However, aging populations and shrinking work forces in most countries (of Europe) will have an important impact on the continent. Either European countries adapt their work forces, reform their social welfare, education, and tax systems, and accommodate growing immigrant populations (chiefly from Muslim countries), or they face a period of protracted economic stasis.”
Fat chance of Europe giving up her month-long August vacation and her social/welfare safety nets. It’s nice to be without war and its grief . . . so let’s just kick back, keep out the Moslems (a bit) and coast to oblivion.
I will not belabor the facts . . . glaring and obvious they are . . . but their ostentatious presence is an embarrassment to America’s evangelical populous—a populous bent on the same multi-national marketing strategies found in corporate America—that little profundity we shall save for another day.
In the mean time, brothers and sisters and casual observers, though the times in which we live are both disquieting and full of deceit (some purposeful, some supercilious), we, nevertheless, have an anchor in the midst of this tumultuous storm: CHRIST, THE CAPTAIN OF OUR SALVATION!
Let us repeat these remarkable verses, taken in their context, wherein the Younger Horn will one day make war against the saints, prevailing against them, but to his everlasting shame the Almighty shall gain the upper hand:
“Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom . . . Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down . . . and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the ward of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Daniel 7:21b-22; Revelation 12:10-11).
