WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE WAR WITH HIM

Recently I received what I call a “prophetic disturbance in the force” from one of my critics (and I have many) who resoundingly affirms that America’s death (and rumors thereof) should be greatly exaggerated—especially, her military capabilities!

 

This dear Episcopalian brother—unlike the enlightened Premillenarian Episcopalian, John Nelson Darby (later to advance the Plymouth Brethren cause)—sees little in Israel’s present fulfillment and perceives the likes of the Tribulation Network naught but part and parcel of a vast and most subtle Zionist conspiracy akin to the Da Vinci Code (I presume).  Furthermore, he assumes that Babylon on the Hudson is both inept and prophetically disqualified to assume the final phase of the latter-day Babylon the Great.

 

Peter, taking his queue from the likes, no doubt, of Barbara Aho—and those like Constance Cumbey, Herb Peters and scores of American evangelical prophetic aspirants—subscribes to the prophetically-bankrupt notion of a Euro-Centric Antichrist, or, worse yet, Islam is the Antichrist!  The ramifications of these Euro-Centric proponents of Antichrist—and the fringe elements of their convictions who espouse anti-Semitic claptrap—are what this article is all about.

 

Peter et al are loathe to admit that the Jews occupy little eschatological relevance aside from a torturous tribulation preparatory to the Second Coming of Christ.  And, some, like Aho, who deny through conspiratorial deflection their own Christian Identity roots, are vehement in their quest (again, a al The Da Vinci Code) to stigmatize today’s Jews as imposters, conspiring to catapult the world into Armageddon.

 

This article, then, is a sort of rambling exchange between a perspective which attempts to deflect attention away from America—this time by a European (the Brit living from time to time in Germany)— placing the onus of Antichrist either upon Islam or, most certainly, any place or person apart from the United States of America and her fine citizenry.

Well, Douglas, when are the prophecies of people like yourself and Steve Shearer going to become reality?

 

The invincible American war machine that's going to rule the planet doesn't look quite so invincible now does it? Just like in Vietnam where a bunch of peasants dressed in black pajamas and wearing straw hats and carrying little more than AK47's beat the crap out of the world's most technologically advanced army, so in Iraq a bunch of Arab peasants dressed in bedclothes and equipped with basic weaponry are doing the same thing again. It’s absolutely clear that both Republican and Democrat candidates in the 2008 elections are going to run on the “I’ll bring the troops home ticket.”

 

Only dictatorships are able to fight long wars of attrition, democracies don't have the stomach for them. And far from George Bush setting himself up as dictator of America after his second term win as predicted by Steve Shearer and others not even the predicted draft has been reinstated. You guys don't seem to have even caught onto the fact that the lesson the military drew from the Vietnam experience was that the day you introduce a draft is the day that your war is numbered. No one is going to cry too much over people who volunteered for jobs as soldiers in the full knowledge that it could involve them being killed.

 

Well, Peter, don’t you find it a bit disconcerting that the fallibility of America’s war machine has somehow snuffed out Al-Qaeda’s #1 hit man in Iraq:  Abu Musab al-Zarqawi?

 

Perhaps this went unnoticed by the myriads of Euro-Centric Antichrist proponents who somehow affirm their own invincibilities insofar as Javier Salana’s new Revived Roman Empire with its Euro-Military machine?  A minimal Goggle search comparing the military might and infrastructure of America’s colossus vs. the midget-military incapacities of European nation states is so laughable that to countenance any comparison between the two is ludicrous to the extreme—a genuine waste of internet time and space!

 

Alas!  Who sits a stride the banks of the Euphrates and Tigris?  What Western power has little or no commendation to absent itself from the heart of Ancient Babylon, Iraq?  Who is currently building the greatest foreign embassy the world has ever seen in the heart of Baghdad—hardly an equivalent helicopter retreat a la Saigon’s alleged debacle and seemingly a wholly different strategy than the timidity witnessed in Viet Nam?

 

In spite of America’s seeming disgrace in Viet Nam—for the real prize was China’s economic contribution to Babylon’s hegemonic efforts throughout the region and world—she has utterly no intention of folding her tent in the Beautiful Land as she feigned to do in Southeast Asia.

 

OPERATION IRAQI LIBERATION or O.I.L.

 

   You see, my dear friend Peter, one must see the larger picture of things—the younger or Eleventh Horn of Daniel’s vision (Daniel 7:20), simply put, has an “appearance greater than his fellows” – and, if you would but reference your British counterparts (e.g., Jane’s Military Intelligence), you would, as I, profoundly perceive the colossus a stride the Euphrates is loathe to compare itself to the Euro-midget militaries of the Europeans!

 

Accentuating Babylon’s intentions—and, primarily the supremacy of her leader, who you so deprecate by relegating his capabilities to the same dumb polls who long ago exaggerated his political death—her fearless leader with unmitigated chutzpa flaunts his presence (just in case you’re not sure who’s leadin’ this charge) right in front of the entire world of Islam.  Nothing like looking into the eyes of American democracy at work in establishing her American New World Order system.

 

Peter, I’m surprised . . . why is it that you so despise America’s unquestioned leadership of Babylon the Great?  Is it that you refuse to confirm the overt, the obvious?  My, my—perhaps our European forebears are altogether blindsided.  The past one hundred years they have had to reluctantly relinquish their claims to colonial empire.  They’ve been forced to take a back seat to the rise of Babylon’s Eleventh Horn—that hideous multicultural Beast who so disgusts you. 

 

Hey, quit being a sore loser!  What you have birthed will one day—if not now, very soon—come back and demand the following from you, until . . .

 

“These (i.e., “the ten horns/ten kings” of Revelation 17:12—of a Revived Western Roman imperial façade) are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast” (Revelation 17:13).

 

So, Peter, get over it—get used to it ‘ole chap—it’s only a matter of time.  Now, before we contemplate your inane condescensions—consider the repeated viewing of the photo below showing the two 500-pound smart bombs destroying Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s safe house—akin to General Schwarzkopf’s Gulf War press debriefing of the guy blown to smithereens on the bridge by American smart bombs—wrong place, at the wrong time; simply put:  You don’t want to get into the crosshairs of American military technology—this is what happens!

Your discrepancies relative to the awesome strength of US-military superiority—are naught but relics of the Old Europe; akin to the conspiratorial distractions of Dan Brown’s novel:  The Da Vinci Code.

 

Interesting, isn’t it, how we American Babylonians are so clever in keeping the focus of Antichrist’s origins upon the shores of the European continent?  Of course, we have only the Europeans to thank for that, as they flock in record numbers to view the American subterfuge—and why?  Because their false sense of superiority only exceeds their North American rejects!  So gander on the obliteration of the formidable, invincible Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and ponder:  Osama, look what awaits you:

As to your belief that it's false Christianity that is going to be responsible for the end time’s deception, it could just as well be that Islam has the bulk of Christians believing that the Arabs are the true descendants of Abraham and Islam represents true Christianity.  Your assertion that Western liberalism isn’t going to allow fanatical Islamic Governments to interfere with Western European countries with huge Muslim populations in the millions to interfere with their way of life, well, that is exactly what is happening—these European governments are running scared.

 

In Britain the media is full of programs "explaining" Islam to those "misguided" enough to think of it as intolerant and barbaric and a Muslim radical Tariq Ali has been given his own program on a public TV channel to "correct public misconceptions".  Not one newspaper or national media outlet in Britain (or America, I believe) had the courage to reproduce the Danish cartoon. Liberal Left academics all over Europe are feverishly working to promote Islam as the face of reasonable religion and Christianity as the face of conflict and intolerance, not because they believe it, quite the contrary, it's because they see that along with homosexuals, women, and non-Europeans, Islam can be used to help overthrow the white Anglo-Saxon, heterosexual male dominated social order. In other words they are quite willing to knowingly climb into bed with the Devil in order to achieve their world vision, a vision which doesn't include Christianity.

 

How could that happen with America the mighty around to prevent such a thing, you ask? It's simple, the US won't be around - read Revelations 18.  I know that Revelation is a favorite of yours except that you are pretty selective in its use. I noted in your piece on the reaction to the Danish cartoon you mention the "merchants of the earth" but not in context:

 

"And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her for Babylon the Great is no more."

 

The USA is Babylon the Great which you admit, Babylon being a synonym for multiculturalism, so then why don’t you accept what the author of Revelation says about it? That the US is going to be destroyed by some apparent natural phenomenon which has the consequence of world economic collapse. It can’t possibly be read in a way which has it happening after, what you say, is the American yoke being laid on the world.

 

ISLAM, EURO-SECULARISM AND THE DEMISE OF EURO-CHRISTIANITY

 

I know this is a bit difficult to follow—but the sum and substance of what Peter is trying to say here appears to accredit Babylon’s immediate rise to that of the USA, while Europe continues to reel under the onslaughts of a conversionary and militant Islam making ever aggressive incursions into a weakened and secularized Europe bent on ridding itself of cultural Christianity.  This mildly fits into Peter’s eschatological schematic:  Islam is the Antichrist.  European decadent Christianity simply implodes, given the triumvirate of forces which have and are converging upon her decrepit society:  Secular humanism, radical Islam, and Roman Catholic ecumenism.

 

Peter, your analysis of Islam’s successes in Europe is in conflict with apparent socio-political realities.  The anti-Islamic cartoons were in fact carried throughout Europe and here in the States—and throughout the blogosphere.  My thesis is impregnable:  European secularism is not at peace with militant Islam nor with America’s militant Christianity (juxtaposed to that of Europe’s sickly religious deception); however, she is uncompromised in defending her secular freedoms—freedoms which her American counterparts so grossly celebrate, notwithstanding America’s religious embarrassments.  When the dust clears—“Cultural Christianity” will survive and thrive—fed by American Christian militancy and so-called democratic ideals.

Sorry, I’m not buying Islam’s Antichrist—an old European conclusion wrought by Popes and crusaders.  I’m not surprised that an Anglican would hold to such a prejudice, given Europe’s proximity to Islam’s Caliphates and centuries of struggle.  I fear that the spirit of Richard the Lion-hearted hath seized upon you!  No wonder our articles concerning the “Antichrist is not a Jew, the Pope, Islam, nor a New Age Joke” disturbed you to the core.

 

Insofar as America’s demise in Revelation 18—bravo, you see through a glass darkly, but nevertheless, you do see!

 

Let it be known that Revelation 18 clearly spells the demise of Commercial Babylon—but hardly that of her military, now spread throughout the planet, but nigh concentrated in the Middle East to protect and expand her quest for the hidden treasures of the region.

 

 

 

You are sadly mistaken if for one minute you assume that an immediate and cataclysmic event will hasten Babylon’s judgment prior to the world’s subjugation by the Empire—all Scripture cries out against it. 

 

Babylon’s commercial destruction occurs at the finality of the 70th Week of Daniel—fast on the heels of the destruction of an apostate religious system led by a corrupt Christendom (Revelation 17)!

 

The “seas and the waves roaring” occurs just prior to the coming of the Son of Man (Luke 21:25-28).  I do not conjecture here—but those who forecast a mega-tsunami caused by the massive collapse of the stratovolcanic slopes found on the Isle of La Palma in the Canary Islands off West Africa (recently popularized on the Discovery Channel—sending a wall of water inundating the entire Eastern seaboard of the USA for 12 miles inland)—can rest assured that such will NOT be the case until the Son of Man appears.

 

THE JEWS ARE BEHIND SHEARER AND KRIEGER

 

When all else fails—blame it on the Jews!  Peter, you somehow have managed, once again, to align our fine efforts with those of the Jewish Roots movement—a movement’s reality heartily embraced by the likes of conspiratorialists like Barbara Aho (Please see her anti-Semitic convolutions at:  http://watch.pair.com/HRM.html entitled:  The Hebraic Roots Movement)—never was there a hodgepodge of gobbledygook so concentrated upon the internet.  Imagine, blasting evangelist Jacob Prasch, while extolling the Nazi, Nesta H. Webster—quoting from her vehemence:  Secret Societies and Subversion Movements—as if there were some form of academic credibility bursting forth from her hateful pen!

 

How convenient to sentence us to a deviant form of Kabalistic nonsense—I had no idea that I’d find myself with the likes of Barbara Streisand and Madonna!  Alas!  Caught with Aho’s crypto-Catholics and the Jews of the Priory of Sion—man, wait until Dan Brown’s sequel:  The Antichrist IS a Jew—How Krieger & Shearer Built the Third Temple through Free Masonry, the Knights Templar, and Opus Dei!

 

 

 

KRIEGER & SHEARER—A ZIONIST PLOT! 

 

 

The reason why people like you and Steve Shearer refuse to accept John’s words is because it doesn’t fit in with your pet theories about the evil US empire, either that or you’re carrying on a disinformation campaign on behalf of someone. The Zionists perhaps? We know that organizations like yours and Shearer’s are part of the Jewish Roots movement. Although it doesn’t seem to have occurred to you people that the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people - the Christians are, and secondly, the Jews are not back in Palestine because God willed it.

 

How can they be, they are still in a state of disobedience and rebellion towards God, they haven’t said "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" - which is the acceptance of Jesus Christ and the prerequisite as Jesus said for God forgiving them.

 

But a greater point to be made here is that all the end time’s prophets are false prophets for as the writer of Revelation makes clear there are to be no more prophets:

 

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book." Rev.22:18

 

And Jesus himself tells us that there are to be no more prophets until he himself comes again:

 

"And many false prophets shall arise and deceive many." Matt.24:11

 

Well, Douglas et al, how do you like being false prophets?

 

Peter—I once was fascinated by an old Chinese Christian who on occasion used the example of a fox and a tail.  You would not know that the fox was a fox “until the tail came out?”  Why, it could have been a nice dog—but once you saw the tail—then you knew the creature to be a fox.

 

Peter—I fear you have entered into the Chinese metaphor—naturally, and tragically, into your Weltanschauung has crept the tail-tale signs of a virulent anti-Semitism, rife with all its vile trappings and classical accoutrements.  This IS what’s dangerous about you, Aho, and the entire British Israelism/Christian Identity movement.  It is fraught with Dominionism, Christian Reconstruction Triumphalism, and, worse yet, the ultimate Frankenstein:  The Theocratic State—Satan’s Apostate counterfeit of the Kingdom of God on earth.

 

Finding solace in a Germanic Germany or an Anglo-Saxon sanctuary, is a futile endeavor having nothing whatsoever to do with the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ!  The insidious nature of Jewish hatred is nothing more than hatred projected “Against the Lord and against His Messiah!”

 

“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Messiah, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’” (Psalm 2:1-3)

 

Remember, Peter, these final words:

 

“He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision.  Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure:  ‘Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion” (Psalm 2:4-6).

 

PROPHETS RULE

 

Oh, with regards to the absence of prophets in these last days—let me disabuse you of that inane notion and/or aversion to taking up such a mantel.  It is precisely in the context of the final judgments of the Almighty upon the earth at the very close of this age—when the SEVEN THUNDERS reverberate their chorus upon humankind:

 “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them . . . that there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets” (Note:  If this isn’t the conclusion of this age—nothing is!) (Revelation 10:4b, 6b-7).

 

 “Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, ‘Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.’  So I went to the angel and said to him, ‘Give me the little book,’ and he said to me, ‘Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.’  Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.  But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.  And he said to me, ‘You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.’

 

“Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod.  And the angel stood, saying, ‘Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.  But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles.  And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.  And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will PROPHESY one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.’  These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth” (Revelation 10:8-11; 11:1-4).

 

 

True prophets—though they be far and few between—are not here to take polls, win friends, and influence people.  Much to your chagrin, I am sure, they will continue their bombasts—the roll of their thunder can be heard in the distance—but soon the fire of the Holy Spirit will consume their enemies.

 

“And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies” (Revelation 11:5a).

 

Maddening, isn’t it?  Preposterous prophets prodding and provoking the planet with their protestations—calling humankind to repentance and declaring the Gospel of the Kingdom of His dear Son!  Shock of shocks that it is the TESTIMONY OF JESUS which is the spirit of PROPHECY that disturbs in the midst of the Tribulation of the last days.

 

Camouflaging Antichrist, blaming the Jews for all the world’s ills, and seizing the kingdom by force—these be the trident of the Devil’s instrument of destruction . . . but he knows his time is short, he is the more enraged! 

 

Where is Christ in all this?  He is there, calling through His prophets, men and women to repentance.  It would be expected and “Biblical” to have recorded what the Seven Thunders uttered—but that is NOT God’s methodology of the Last Days!  No—dear Peter—His demands will be conveyed by true prophets in the midst of a chorus of prolific phonies who will abound prior to the coming of Christ.

 

How does it feel to be one of the false prophets?  I wouldn’t know . . .
