BLOOD AND FIRE . . . of Kings, Oil, Iraq and the West CHAPTER 20 – The False Prophet By Doug Krieger
“After many days you (Israel) will be
visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those
brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of
Israel….On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your
(Gog-Magog’s) mind, and you will make an evil plan…Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Cush - below Egypt) and Libya (Put or Phut – lands west of Egypt) are
with them . . . Sheba, Dedan (the states of the Saudi Arabian Peninsula), the
merchants of Tarshish (the trading nations of the West), and all their young
lions (those dependent upon the trade with the West) will say to you, ‘Have you
come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away
silver and gold, to take a spoil?”… “At the time of the end the King of
the South (North African states headed by Egypt) shall attack him
(Antichrist)…He (Antichrist) shall stretch out his hand against the countries,
and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures
of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans
and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels” (Ezekiel 38:8, 5,
10, 13; Daniel 11:40, 42-43). Most – if not all – are directly or indirectly affected by the turmoil arising in the most prophetically fertile area of the world. Their names are irrelevant in the grand scheme of Biblical fulfillment; however, what they represent – the nations behind the names – is not inconsequential but prophetically potent to the uttermost! This is especially relevant and extraordinary given the fact that these representations now are engaged in the final countdown to the THREE PROPHETIC WARS which await the immediate region surrounding Israel (i.e., the Oracle of Damascus – Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and the Palestinian Authority – and, of course, Israel); the so-called Gog-Magog War (King of the South: Egypt, Libya (Ancient Put or Phut - including Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia) and Sudan or Cush/Ethiopia; and King of the North/Gog-Magog: Turkey and Persia/Iran – and, most definitely, Israel, the “Ships of Tarshish” as well as Sheba and Dedan) which will enflame the Middle East – following hard on the heels of the Burden of Damascus; and, finally, the infamous Campaign of Armageddon (the Kings of the East and “Rumors from the North” both of whom will “trouble him” – i.e., the Antichrist) which shall ultimately envelop all the nations of the earth (Daniel 11:44-45). But who in the “prophetical community” wishes to probe the depths and discern the times of these matters? Forgive me if I sound pompous in this comment – however, the inane efforts of “relational Churchianity” and holding the next conference in the wilderness to bond is not only supercilious vis-à-vis the events which now envelop us, but it is a preposterous irrelevance gripping the believing community – simply put: GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF THE SAND, CHURCH, AND GET RELEVANT! The Prophetic Scriptures do not leave us without hope amidst the confusion and conflict – the economic upheaval descending on the nations; the “wars and rumor of wars” being waged around the world; the political instability, especially gripping the Middle East; and, finally, the wretched apostasy afflicting most of Christianity…despite the incredible growth of the Church outside the heartlands of the West – no, the Prophets long ago foretold of such a time as this and Jesus, most certainly, during His final exhortation upon the Mount of Olives, declared the “end of the age” in no uncertain terms (viz., the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 and Luke 21). So before we peer into the abyss of this abysmal conclusion of the Age of the Gentiles, allow us to punctuate our understanding of these matters with the certitude that “the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect!” (Matthew 24:44) – in that expectation, we delve into these exotic happenings “for we know in part and we prophesy in part” (I Cor. 13:9); yet, in these latter years know this: “Shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. [Then] many shall run to and fro and search anxiously [through the Book], and knowledge [of God’s purposes as revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great” (Daniel 12:4 – Amplified Version). CONNECTING THE PROPHETIC DOTS The astounding chronological series of prophetic utterances from Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11 speak of what Bible scholars call the Gog-Magog War of “the LATTER YEARS.” In Ezekiel 38 the Gentile World Powers are portrayed as desirous of “wiping Israel off the map” – these are the same forces who align themselves against the Antichrist in Daniel 11 – the text which was written from ancient Neo-Babylonia was written in the heart of the prominent Gentile World Power of the time; consequently, its prophetic bent pits these same nations against the Antichrist. Though both the King of the North and the King of the South “come up against him” and the Antichrist clearly destroys both Kings (for he has become a “sword against Gog” (Ezekiel 38:21); our focus, however, in this article is primarily upon the King of the South: Egypt, Libya (lands west of Egypt) and the Ethiopians (the land immediately south of Egypt – ancient Cush) Today these ancient designations – Cush and Put – Sudan and Libya (all of North Africa) – found in Ezekiel 38 (written before Daniel – as Israel was going into Babylonian captivity for 70 years) are, nevertheless, incomplete as to their constellation until we find both Cush/Ethiopia and Put/Phut side-by-side with Egypt in the account recorded in Daniel 11. These are NOT two separate conflicts (i.e., the one found in Ezekiel 38 and the other found in Daniel 11) – to assume otherwise is to torture the Scriptures to fit a most impossible sequence of events in that both wars occur in the end of time. The two passages give us a most definitive clue that they are the same war/struggle in that obscure nations (or “lands”) like Cush and Put are mentioned (seemingly bit players compared to Egypt). The absence of Egypt mentioned in Ezekiel 38 does not obfuscate the fact that she is present in that when we read Daniel 11 she is the dominant leader of the King of the South with Libya (Put) and Sudan (ancient Cush/Ethiopia) following. In Ezekiel 38 the target of the attack is Israel. In Daniel 11 the target of the attack is “him” – the Antichrist (viz., the Willful King who morphs into the prophetic Antichrist throughout Daniel 11). Same prophetic clash – simply two distinct emphases; however, that said, it clearly foretells us that Israel and the Antichrist are somehow identified by Gog-Magog and the Kings of the North and South as the foe who clashes with these antagonists. There is a common foe of the forces of Gog-Magog: Israel; and there is a common foe of the forces of the Kings of the South and North: Antichrist. Therefore, it is altogether clear that Antichrist and Israel are bound by the infamous “Treaty of death and hell” mentioned in Isaiah 28:15, 18 which was enforced as a bogus Defense Pact (i.e., Covenant) by the Antichrist upon Israel’s majority (or immediate leadership) as found in Daniel 9:27 – which enforcement was orchestrated by Antichrist upon Israel shortly after the first prophetic war of the Latter Years: The Arab-Israeli Conflict (1948-present) whose final seventh phase is known in Scripture as the Oracle or Burden of Damascus mentioned in both Zechariah 9 and Isaiah 17. But, again, our focus today is the second prophetic war whose timing we have covered in other articles – it shall occur immediately after the signing of the infamous Defense Pact at the commencement of the Seventieth Week of Daniel’s Prophecy DURING the first 40 days of that prophetic week in that its calculation clearly appears in the first 40 days of Daniel's Seventieth Week - making it first into the prophetic sequence..... in perfect mathematical accounting (Please see: Israel’s Temple Sacrifice and the Abomination of Desolation – taken from Antichrist – Reflections on The Desolator)
Now, that “arc of restraint” is being taken away, leaving in its wake the “Clash of Civilizations” awaiting Israel’s resolve to withstand the formidable forces of Gog-Magog/Kings of the North/South – but, alas, she has as her protector the SHIPS OF TARSHISH – the West – headed by Antichrist himself who shall demand Israel’s adherence and/or compliance to his protection wherein Antichrist’s commercial empire (viz. “the ships of Tarshish”) must be protected at all costs. And, that is precisely why the ancient lands of Sheba and Dedan – the oil rich nations of the Saudi Arabian Peninsula – challenge the forces of Gog-Magog head on: “Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you….Have you come to take plunder?” (Ezekiel 38:13). Let me disabuse you of the notion that these peoples – the Libyans (North Africans) and Egyptians – as well as the Sudanese – are enjoying the blessings of democratic expression . . . most certainly they are, but in a vacuum created by decades of oppressive rule by thugs who, in the main, have been propped up by the Commercial Empire’s clever efforts wherein they (the elites of those Middle Eastern nations) were enriched by these same Ships of Tarshish and here allies, the Saudis and Peninsula friends (the Bible’s “Sheba and Dedan”). Tell me now – how dumb do you think the Libyans (North Africans), Egyptians, Sudanese are? They know who backed their oppressors! And now it’s payback time. Don’t think this is a stretch of the imagination. You say that Egypt is not like Iran/Persia? Come on now – aside from being predominantly Sunni (not Shiite like the Iranians) – there’s very little difference. Especially obvious, is the alleged moderation (which isn’t) of the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt. Ollie North this evening, and Sean Hannity on Sean’s Fox Network program, predicted major instability throughout the entire Middle East to the end of 2012 (Feb. 25, 2011) with no favorable outcome for the USA. But, what does it matter to the USA? Much in every way…. THE AMERICAN COMMERCIAL EMPIRE . . . THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH This website has for years declared the obvious: America is the final commercial empire of the last days – that she is the nexus of the West, the mysterious “Ships of Tarshish” – the great Phoenician trading empire who did transverse the ancient Mediterranean and which had their origins along the Eastern Mediterranean in the ports of Tyre and Sidon, formerly of Cannanitish origins – the “sons of Canaan” who warred with the children of Israel in ancient times. Indeed, these became to the Latin people (the Romans) the Punic peoples of Carthage fame who eventually inhabited the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) from whose shores the Spaniards and Portuguese discovered the New World from whence arose today’s Commercial Empire, the greatest trading nation in the history of the earth: The United States of America. Furthermore, we have unhesitatingly rejected the majority of evangelical prophets of these United States and most of the West, who are determined to dismiss this vast commercial empire to the immediate trash bin of history prior to a secret rapture or as a result of a secret rapture – nor do we witness her dissension as the sole super power via cataclysmic occurrence, military catastrophe, social disintegration, economic demise nor epidemic disease. She is what she is: Mystery Babylon, the culmination of materialism, the fulcrum of apostasy and modern-day Sodom and Egypt found in the Revelation (Chapters 11, 16, 17, 18) – yes, within her walls abide scores of the faithful who overcome her putrefaction and “abominations of the earth” – yet, her moral implosion only provides the “merchants of the earth” with greater sustenance to market her whoredoms, making wealth through “trafficking in the bodies and souls of men.” Whatever “Christian founding” she may have professed has been lost in her headlong drive into hedonism and a vile affection for all things material – if ever there were “earthlings” – those endeared to the earth’s rewards – folks, we have met the enemy and he is us!
“When we look at the world from the standpoint of exports and imports, it is striking how many countries depend on the United States for 5 or even 10 percent of their Gross Domestic Product, a tremendous amount of interdependence. While there are bilateral economic relations and even multilateral ones that do not include the United States, there are none that are unaffected by the United States. Everyone watches and waits to see what the United States will do. Everyone tries to shape American behavior, at least a little bit, in order to gain some advantage or avoid some disadvantage.” (From Chapter 1, “The Unintended Empire” – The Next Decade, by George Friedman, founder of Stratfor, 2011, Doubleday) THE KING OF THE SOUTH IS RISING Phut – Libya – All of North Africa – Who will govern in this vacuum? Before we consider the strategic imprint that the world’s only Commercial Empire holds on the Middle East and the formidable challenges she faces with the current dislocation of powers – the shaky realignment of interests - now engulfing virtually all nations of the region surrounding Israel, let us focus our immediate attention upon what was considered a “sure thing” – i.e., all of North Africa fairly stabilized to protect our Middle Eastern western flank…. Firstly, do you think it ominous that Iran – where America allegedly rejoiced in the overthrow of the Shah of Iran to see a popular and seemingly democratic awakening among the Iranian people – now considered one of the most hostile states in the region in direct opposition to the plans and aspirations of the Great Satan (the USA) and her flagship, the Little Satan (Israel)…horrid names ascribed by the Islamic Republic of Iran against America and Israel – this week moved her warships for the first time since 1979 through the Suez Canal in route for a training mission in Syria? Is it any wonder that Israel viewed this move as ominous since Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has promised to wipe Israel off the map? Meanwhile “Ancient Libya” (Including Algeria, Tunisia, Libya – and ultimately including Morocco and Mauritania - all the North African tier of nations west of Egypt) are in a tailspin of uncertainty which bodes ill for their former “assurance” – the United States of America.
“To the Ancient Greeks, Libya was one of the three known continents along with Asia and Europe. In this sense, Libya was the whole known African continent to the west of the Nile Valley and extended south of Egypt. Herodotus described the inhabitants of Libya as two peoples: The Libyans in northern Africa and the Ethiopians in the south. According to Herodotus, Libya began where ancient Egypt ended, and extended to Cape Spartel, south of Tangier on the Atlantic coast. (See Herodotus’ map.) “Modern geographers suspect severe climate change may have affected the Berbers by causing loss of forests, reliable fresh water sources, and game availability as the area became more desert-like.” (Wikipedia) It is without argument that ancient Phut is Libya – where at the present the capture of dictator Moamar Gadaffi and his ultimate execution is pending (Feb. 26, 2011), whether by trial or outrage. His reign of world-wide terrorism and killing his own people seems to have finally impressed the nations that his usefulness has exhausted itself. But as we view the alliance known as the King of the South, let’s take into account Phut’s origins: “Phut or Put (Hebrew: פוט pûṭ; Septuagint Greek Φουδ Phoud) is the third son of Ham (one of the sons of Noah), in the biblical Table of Nations (Genesis 10:6; cf. 1 Chronicles 1:8). “Put (or Phut) is associated with Ancient Libya by many early writers. Josephus writes: "Phut also was the founder of Libya, and called the inhabitants Phutites (Phoutes), from himself: there is also a river in the country of Moors which bears that name; whence it is that we may see the greatest part of the Grecian historiographers mention that river and the adjoining country by the appellation of Phut (Phoute): but the name it has now has been by change given it from one of the sons of Mezraim, who was called Lybyos." (AotJ Book 1:6/2). Pliny the Elder Nat. Hist. 5.1 and Ptolemy Geog. iv.1.3 both place the river Phuth on the west side of Mauretania (modern Morocco). Ptolemy also mentions a city Putea in Libya (iv.3.39). “A Libyan connection has likewise been inferred from Nahum 3:9, where it is said that "Put and Lubim" were the helpers of Egypt. Other biblical verses consistently refer to the descendants of Put as warriors. In Jeremiah 46:9, they are again described as being supporters of Egypt. Ezekiel mentions them three times - in 27:10, as supporters of Tyre (Phoenicia), in 30:5 again as supporting Egypt, and in 38:5, as supporters of Gog. The Septuagint Greek (LXX) substitutes Libues in Ezekiel where the Hebrew Bible refers to Put. However, the LXX reads Put in Isaiah 66:19, in place of Pul in the Hebrew.” (Wikipedia) The ultimate Muslim radicalization of Libya – an already despotic dictatorship on the verge of collapse – will embrace Muslim Brotherhood-style governance. Some think that “Libya can resurrect the pluralistic society envisioned by the 1951 constitution, although without a monarch….The greatest fear is that al-Qaida or Libya’s own Islamist groups, which withstood fierce repression for a time and might have the best organization skills (e.g., the Muslim Brotherhood) among the opposition, could gain power….al-Qaida might try to exploit tribal unrest and seize footholds in the vast ungoverned spaces of southwestern Libya, near the Algerian border.” (Gadaffi Warns of Blood and Fire, Neil MacFarquhar, the New York Times, Feb. 27, 2011). But one thing is absolutely certain – Libya/Phut is mentioned in both Ezekiel 38: 5 and in Daniel 11:43 as part of the constellation of nations known as the King of the South (and most likely includes the all the nations of North Africa) who shall come up against Israel in the Latter Years (Ezekiel 38:8) – at the Time of the End (Daniel 11:40). What of Northern Sudan – the land of Cush – Ancient Ethiopia?
“The region S of Egypt, i.e. Nubia or N Sudan, the ‘Ethiopia’ of classical writers (not modern Abyssinia [Ethiopia]). The name Cush in both Hebrew and Assyrian derives from Egyptian Kš (earlier K’s, K’š), ‘Kush’. Originally the name of a district somewhere between the second and third cataracts of the Nile c. 2000 bc, ‘Kush’ became also a general term for Nubia among the Egyptians, which wider use Hebrews, Assyrians and others took over (G. Posener, in Kush 6, 1958, pp. 39–68). (New Bible Dictionary, 3rd Ed.) “In several cases, especially in the prophets, Ethiopia is used in parallel construction as a synonym of Egypt (Isa 20:3-5; Ezek 30:4; Nah 3:9). This probably represents the dominance of Ethiopia (or, more precisely, Nubia) over Egypt between 750 and 663 B.C. Terhakah was a notable Nubian pharaoh who tried, unsuccessfully, to block Sennacherib’s westward expansion (2 Kings 19:9; Isa 37:9). After 663 B. C. Egypt was independent of Nubia (Jer 46:9; Ezek 25:4, 5, 9).(The Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament comments on the term Cush (Ethiopia) as it is used in several Old Testament prophecies.”) (Taken from Farrell’s Travel Blog – January 11, 2010) Unfortunately, some Bible scholars have confused this Cush, south of Egypt, with the Cush to the north of Israel near Assyria (See: Ray Stedman’s on the Right Track but is Confused on Who Makes the Covenant – THREE PROPHETIC WARS, by Doug Krieger). The specificity of Cush’s modern location is all the more noticeable as the prophetic time clock is set and Sudan is truncated – the southern portion of the modern state of Sudan having separated from the original boundaries of the state through a plebiscite in which 99.57% of Southern Sudan voted for independence. It would appear that “black Africa” is not involved with the King of the South. Regarding the political future of “Northern Sudan” which, specifically, mirrors the general borders of Cush or ancient Ethiopia (Nubia), its current leader, President Omar al-Bashir, seems destined to that proverbial resting place of most accomplished thugs – a man who has orchestrated the murder of millions of his own countrymen, and especially those of Black African descent. Now that oil has been discovered in the Southern Sudan – and the cost for drilling and transporting this oil to the Red Sea ports – both the North and South Sudanese had little choice (especially al-Bashir) to end the conflict to secure the monies derived for its production. But if Libya and Egypt are any indication as to the disposition of these tin-pot dictators . . . then al-Bashir is about to hit the road or the pavement: “In July 2008, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno Ocampo, accused al-Bashir of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur.[8] The court issued an arrest warrant for al-Bashir on 4 March 2009 on counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity, but ruled that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute him for genocide.[9][10] However on 12 July 2010, after a lengthy appeal by the prosecution, the Court held that there was indeed sufficient evidence for charges of genocide to be brought and issued a second warrant containing three separate counts. The new warrant, as with the first, will be delivered to the Sudanese government, which is unlikely to execute it.[10] Al-Bashir is the first sitting head of state ever indicted by the ICC as well as the first to be charged with genocide.[10]” (Wikipedia). Egypt will lead the King of the South – the Sequence of Events: Overall, the King of the South is dominated by Egypt. What will arise is a “brotherhood of Muslims” aligned with the King of the North (the peoples comprising modern Turkey and Iran (Persia). In Ezekiel they are both headed up by the Chief (Rosh or “head”) Principality Gog and those under Gog are the peoples/lands known as Magog (Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, Togarmah – modern-day Turkey); however, aligned with the King of the North/Gog and this chief principality’s peoples and lands are “Persia, Cush and Phut are with them” (Ezekiel 38:5). The role of the King of the South appears subsidiary to that of the King of the North – eventually, however, according to Daniel 11, “the land of Egypt shall not escape” and Antichrist (the Willful King of Daniel 11) will “have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels” (Daniel 11:43) – all this shall happen, according to Daniel 11:40: “At the time of the end.” Furthermore, these accounts of Antichrist’s defamations and material enhancements are recorded just prior to this phrase: “AT THAT TIME Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even TO THAT TIME. And AT THAT TIME your people (Israel – the Jews) shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book…and many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake” (Daniel 12:1-2). The timing of these events is just prior to the RESURRECTION of the dead; therefore, these events – the Gog-Magog War; subsequent events of the Armageddon Campaign (Daniel 11:44-45), which follow hard on the heels of the Gog-Magog War (40+ days into the Seventieth Week of Daniel’s prophecy) and which envelop all the nations of the earth; Jacob’s Trouble (Daniel 12:1a) – Israel’s suffering through these wars; and the simultaneous preservation of the Jewish people, the remnant; and then the rapture of the Church and the general resurrection of the righteous (at the close of the Seventieth Week) – all are prophetically sequenced in the Book of Daniel. The understanding of this sequence of prophetical events was not, at the time, made known to Daniel (Daniel 12:8-9); however, it is apparent, that during these aforesaid wars which culminate in the 30-days of the Wrath of the Lamb – at the end of the second half of Daniel’s Seventieth Week, the 1,260 days (“…there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days” – Daniel 12:11) shall result in several positive accomplishments leading up to the thirty-days of wrath (i.e., 30 days beyond the second half of Daniel’s Seventieth Week or thirty days beyond the final 1,260 days or through to the 1,290th day) and within the thirty days itself: (1) Repentance, Renewal and Revival – “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3) (2) Transformation of the People of God – “Many shall be purified, made white and refined” (Daniel 12:10). THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD – a.k.a. THE MUSLIM NAZI PARTY The media elites seem enthralled with the wonders of the so-called moderate Muslim Brotherhood. Since it is by far and beyond the largest political block within the 360 million Arab World, one would do well to consider its history and immediate disposition. A casual observation of the Society of Muslim Brotherhood identifies its origins in the mid-1920s… “The Society of the Muslim Brothers (often simply الإخوان Al-Ikhwān, The Brotherhood or MB) is an Islamic transnational movement and the largest political opposition organization in many Arab states. The group is the world's oldest and largest Islamic political group,[1] and the "world's most influential Islamist movement."[2] The Brotherhood has as its slogan "Islam is the solution."[3] It was founded in 1928 in Egypt by the Islamic scholar and schoolteacher Hassan al-Banna. “The Brotherhood's stated goal is to instill the Qur'an and Sunnah as the "sole reference point for ... ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community ... and state".[4] Since its inception in 1928 the movement has officially opposed violent means to achieve its goals.[5][6] Jeremy Bowen, BBC Middle East editor, calls it "conservative and non-violent,"[7] The Brotherhood condemned terrorism and the 9/11 attacks,[8][9] but whether or not it has ties to terrorism is a matter of dispute.[10] The Brotherhood's nonviolent stance has resulted in breakaway groups from the movement, including the Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya and Al Takfir Wal Hijra.[11] Osama bin Laden has similarly criticized the Brotherhood, and accused it of betraying jihad and the ideals of Sayyid Qutb, an influential Brother member and author of Milestones.[12][13] In Egypt, the Brotherhood has stated that, while it seeks the establishment of an Islamic state, it would not force women to cover up.[14]” (Wikipedia)
If you want to know the secret but wholly open agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood, listen to the attorney (John Loftus) who defended over 500 former British and American spies in protecting them from criminal and other so-called crimes against the state because they came clean with much of the information below: “Let me give you an example. This year a friend of mine from the CIA, named Bob Baer wrote a very good book about Saudi Arabia and terrorism, it's called Sleeping with the Devil. I read the book and I got about a third of the way through and I stopped. Bob was writing how when he worked for the CIA how bad the files were. He said, for example, the files for the Muslim Brotherhood were almost nothing. There were just a few newspaper clippings. I called Bob up and said, "Bob, that's wrong. The CIA has enormous files on the Muslim Brotherhood, volumes of them. I know because I read them a quarter of a century ago." He said, "What do you mean?" Here's how you can find all of the missing secrets about the Muslim Brotherhood -- and you can do this, too. I said, "Bob, go to your computer and type in two words into the search part. Type the word "Banna," B-a-n-n-a. He said, "Yeah." Type in "Nazi." Bob typed the two words in, and out came 30 to 40 articles from around the world. He read them and called me back and said, "Oh my gosh, what have we done?" What I'm doing today is doing what I'm doing now: I'm educating a new generation in the CIA that the Muslim Brotherhood was a fascist organization that was hired by Western intelligence that evolved over time into what we today know as al-Qaeda. Here's how the story began. In the 1920s there was a young Egyptian named al Bana. And al Bana formed this nationalist group called the Muslim Brotherhood. Al- Banna was a devout admirer of Adolph Hitler and wrote to him frequently. So persistent was he in his admiration of the new Nazi Party that in the 1930s, al-Banna and the Muslim Brotherhood became a secret arm of Nazi intelligence. The Arab Nazis had much in common with the new Nazi doctrines. They hated Jews; they hated democracy; and they hated the Western culture. It became the official policy of the Third Reich to secretly develop the Muslim Brotherhood as the fifth Parliament, an army inside Egypt.
The Muslim Brotherhood began to expand in scope and influence during World War II. They even had a Palestinian section headed by the grand Mufti of Jerusalem, one of the great bigots of all time. Here, too, was a man -- The grand Mufti of Jerusalem was the Muslim Brotherhood representative for Palestine. These were undoubtedly Arab Nazis. The Grand Mufti, for example, went to Germany during the war and helped recruit an international SS division of Arab Nazis. They based it in Croatia and called it the "Handjar" Muslim Division, but it was to become the core of Hitler's new army of Arab fascists that would conquer the Arab peninsula from then on to Africa -- grand dreams. At the end of World War II, the Muslim Brotherhood was wanted for war crimes. Their German intelligence handlers were captured in Cairo. The whole net was rolled up by the British Secret Service. Then a horrible thing happened. Instead of prosecuting the Nazis -- the Muslim Brotherhood -- the British government hired them. They brought all the fugitive Nazi war criminals of Arab and Muslim descent into Egypt, and for three years they were trained on a special mission. The British Secret Service wanted to use the fascists of the Muslim Brotherhood to strike down the infant state of Israel in 1948. Only a few people in the Mossad know this, but many of the members of the Arab Armies and terrorist groups that tried to strangle the infant State of Israel were the Arab Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood. Britain was not alone. The French intelligence service cooperated by releasing the Grand Mufti and smuggling him to Egypt, so all of the Arab Nazis came together. So, from 1945 to 1948, the British Secret Service protected every Arab Nazi they could, but they failed to quash the State of Israel. What the British did then, they sold the Arab Nazis to the predecessor of what became the CIA. It may sound stupid; it may sound evil, but it did happen. The idea was that we were going to use the Arab Nazis in the Middle East as a counterweight to the Arab communists. Just as the Soviet Union was funding Arab communists, we would fund the Arab Nazis to fight against. And lots of secret classes took place. We kept the Muslim Brotherhood on our payroll.” The hideous fact that hundreds of thousands of American, British, French and other allies perished in fighting for liberty in defeating the Nazi war machine – ONLY TO SPARE THE ARAB NAZIS WHO LIVE ON TO THIS DAY – is one of the most egregious crimes in modern history and certainly a shocking tale of high crimes and misdemeanors. War crimes were never perpetrated against these creeps; instead, they were welcomed into the secret services of Britain, France and the USA – SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! And behind all the West’s duplicitous mannerisms is the almighty dollar based upon the black gold of the Middle East. LEFT MEETS RIGHT – HITLER AND STALIN CONCUR – THE BROTHERHOOD AND THE OBAMA LOVE AFFAIR What fascinates is the Left’s supercilious and rather preposterous desire to deprecate America’s “viability” in the face of the Muslim Brother or other allegedly benign “takeovers” – for example, the Left’s euphoric celebration of Iran’s revolution, only to find that the agenda of the Ayatollah Khomeini was naught but an extreme form of Muslim rigidity abhorred by the Left (finally), but initially celebrated by the hate-all-things-America Left.
What Obama is pursuing with the Muslim Brotherhood, therefore, is simply to be expected. And in typical fashion, the left is clamoring behind him to indulge in its own romance with the Egyptian jihadist entity. The deranged and delusional leftist support for the Muslim Brotherhood today is a replay of how the left supported the Ayatollah Khomeini in Iran in 1979. And without doubt, the left's love affair with the Khomeini revolution, a well-known tragic – and grotesque – story, documented in works like David Horowitz's "Unholy Alliance" and in my own "United in Hate," served as a revealing – and horrifying – example of this progressive impulse to worship tyranny. French philosopher Michel Foucault was the poster boy for the left's love affair with Khomeini's killing machine. Like leftists around the world, he was enchanted with the ayatollah. It was evident, after all, that Khomeini was not planning to set up Jeffersonian institutions based on respect for individual liberty and the right to dissent. Khomeini's violent and intolerant attitude toward non-Muslim minorities (especially Baha'is and Jews), secularists, women and all dissenters from the Islamist line was no secret. The fate that would befall these groups when the ayatollah came to power was preordained. This is what attracted leftists like Foucault most, explaining why, in his writing on the revolution, he did not disguise his exhilaration at what Islamists would bring to Iran. Indeed, he strongly endorsed the ayatollahs' staunch rejection of the shah's plan of modernization and secularization and their goal of returning to an idealized, pre-modern past – the beginnings of Islam in the seventh century.” (Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood romance, by Jamie Glazov, February 5, 2001, WorldNetDaily) Now, with the Muslim Brotherhood in growing influence throughout the Middle East – a picture emerges wherein some rightly speculate that she will find common cause with the King of the North and join in the Gog-Magog War against Israel – indeed, on Feb. 23, 2011, shortly after the roust of President Mubarak, a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was quoted in the Iranian press by stating that the Iranian regime was “a ‘model of resistance’ against the West, and praised it for its ‘respect for humanity’.” (The Wire, 23 Feb 2011, Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt: Senior member praises Iran as model for human rights) But as we know “On that day it shall come to pass” – within the Kings of the North and South – “thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of un-walled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates – to take plunder to take booty” but then shall the Commercial Empire and her client states cry out against Gog-Magog – the King of the North and the King of the South: “Sheba, Dedan, the MERCHANTS OF TARSHISH, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take a spoil?’” (Ezekiel 38:10-11, 13). ANCIENT BABYLON – MODERN IRAQ – WHERE IS SHE?
Not only is the “Kingdom of Babylon” (the Commercial Empire) – the “King of Babylon” (the Antichrist) – but “Religious Babylon” (Rev. 17) – all are included in the end-time finale as the head of the nations who shall be involved in Israel’s climactic days of “trouble.” Again, however, we are intrigued as to why is Babylon or modern-day Iraq absented from the passages describing, firstly, the Oracle of Damascus (Isaiah 17 and Zechariah 9); and, secondly, the Gog-Magog/King of the South, King of the North (Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11) prophetic conflicts? Nations far more obscure – especially in their relationship with ancient Israel – are mentioned (Libya and Sudan, for example; and exempted from the conflict, Jordan – i.e., Ancient Edom, Moab and Ammon – Daniel 11:41). We believe we may have a most adequate and logical explanation to Babylon’s apparent absence from these passages and why she is so obviously engaged in so many other passages which do not bespeak of her direct involvement in the Oracle of Damascus and the Gog-Magog/Kings of the North/South Wars but clearly affirm her ostentatious presence in all these happenings. There’s a reason why she is called MYSTERY Babylon. Firstly, from Ezekiel 38:13 we hear that the “Ships of Tarshish” (the great Cannanitish-Phoenician-Punic-Iberian-Western Commercial Empire), along with Sheba and Dedan (the nations of the Saudi Arabian Peninsula) will contest the motives of Gog-Magog. Secondly, the forces of Gog-Magog in Ezekiel 38 are utterly destroyed by what appears to be supernatural events: “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel (It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land – Ezekiel 38:16) …that My fury will show in My face….Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel….I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains….Every man’s sword will be against his brother….I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, brimstone” (Ezekiel 38:18-19; 21-22). However, when the Almighty declares in Ezekiel 38 that He “will call for a sword against Gog” that could readily be Israel’s participation and assuredly, according to Daniel 11:40-43 it is the clear participation of Antichrist – whose “followers” are the great commercial captains known as the Ships of Tarshish spoken of in Ezekiel 38 who contest Gog! For, immediately following this outburst of hatred between the Ships of Tarshish and Gog (for Satan’s kingdom is so divided – and his principalities contend with each other) over Israel’s Glorious Land (Daniel 11:41a) will immediately commence the infamous CAMPAIGN OF ARMAGEDDON which will persist throughout the remainder of the entire Seventieth Week of Daniel until it reaches the final thirty-days of the Wrath of the God and the Lamb and the termination of the 1,290 days of desolation (Daniel 8:13-14; 12:12; Revelation 6:16-17; 11:18; 14:19; 15:1, 7; 16:1, 19; 19:11-21). This “Campaign of Armageddon” is clearly delineated by Daniel 11:44-45 and confirmed by Ezekiel 39:17-20 – wherein it says that Antichrist shall hear of “news from the east and the north (that) shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him” (Daniel 11:44-45).
Throughout these passages, especially those found in Daniel’s prophetic accounting – it appears, undeniably so, that the Antichrist-Beast (the very clear leader of the worldwide Commercial Empire of the Latter Years known as Babylon the Great – whom the Ships of Tarshish, as well as Sheba and Dedan, owe their material fidelity) has PRE-POSITIONED, “at the time of the end,” his forces in Israel’s “inheritance” (which has always included the original promise made to Abraham – from the Mediterranean Sea to the River Euphrates – i.e., large portions of today’s Iraq – Genesis 15:18; Deuteronomy 1:7-8; 11:24; Joshua 1:4) substantiated to Moses and Joshua. The West’s infatuation with the “Glorious” or “Beautiful” (NIV) land has accelerated since disposing of the Islamic Caliphate, the Ottoman Empire, at the close of WW I. The British and French, but as well, the Americans through their oil interests, have all clamored for a piece of the Beautiful Land and her extensions within the Fertile Crescent. Now, American forces are permanently positioned in Ancient Babylon – but their presence there has everything to do with their resistance to the Prince of Persia (modern-day Iran) and their total commitment to the cheap energy supplies on behalf of the West – i.e., the interests which are wholly centered in the maintenance of their “Commercial Empire.” So, on the one hand relative to these prophetic wars (i.e., the Oracle of Damascus involving Lebanon (Hezbollah), Syria, Gaza (Hamas) and the “Fortress of Ephraim” (the Palestinian Authority); and the Gog-Magog/Kings of the North and South conflagration), Babylon or Ancient Iraq is not “physically” mentioned, but on the other hand, through her leadership of the Western trading nations (i.e., the Ships of Tarshish and all the “young lions” thereof) and their trading partners in the Middle East headed up by the Saudis (Sheba and Dedan), Babylon is altogether present. (Note: As an aside, allusions to the “Arab Confederacy” which some give credence to in Psalm 83 and in portions of Isaiah 10-20 – aside from the general prophetic picture – these passages (omitting Isaiah 17-19, however) do not have the specificity relative to the obvious two prophetic conflicts prior to the Armageddon Campaign – however, they do speak of a conspiracy to annihilate Israel, and in that sense, they present a general prophetic picture of what is about to occur in the “Latter Years.”) Governing the Un-governable! But why is Babylon obscure from these three prophetic wars? Could it be – and this is further evidence that Ancient Babylon abides a “mystery” in the Latter Years – because her presence is pervasive throughout Iraq at this moment? Furthermore, a closer look at the fragmentation taking place in modern Iraq virtually guarantees the continued and unending presence of the forces of the great Commercial Empire of the Latter Years.
“A parliamentary election was held in Iraq on 7 March 2010. The election decided the 325 members of the Council of Representatives of Iraq who will elect the Iraqi Prime Minister and President. The election resulted in a partial victory for the Iraqi National Movement, led by former Interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, which won a total of 91 seats, making it the largest alliance in the Council. The State of Law Coalition, led by incumbent Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki, was the second largest grouping with 89 seats. The election has been controversial.[1] Prior to the election, the Supreme Court in Iraq ruled that the existing electoral law/rule was unconstitutional,[2] and a new elections law made changes in the electoral system.[3] On 15 January 2010, the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) banned 499 candidates from the election due to alleged links with the Ba'ath Party.[4][5] Before the start of the campaign on 12 February 2010, IHEC confirmed that the appeals by banned candidates had been rejected and thus all 456 banned candidates would not be allowed to run for the election.[6] There were numerous allegations of fraud,[7][8] and a recount of the votes in Baghdad was ordered on 19 April 2010.[9] On 14 May IHEC announced that after 11,298 ballot boxes had been recounted, there was no sign of fraud or violations.[10] The new parliament opened on 14 June 2010.[11] After months of fraught negotiations, an agreement was reached on the formation of a new government on 11 November.[12] Talabani would continue as president, Al-Maliki would stay on as prime minister and Allawi would head a new security council.” (Wikipedia) The ineptitude of the Iraqis to self-government demands an agonizing reappraisal by the West. Already the US has determined their stay is indefinite – “to advise Iraqi troops and protect US interests.” Now we hear that the world record for forming a democratically elected government continues its on-going incompletion and inability to govern: “Iraq's Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has given his cabinet 100 days to improve public services, warning that failure to do so will result in "changes". The move comes in the wake of nationwide protests against corruption and unemployment. AFP - Iraq's prime minister warned his cabinet on Sunday to shape up within 100 days or face "changes" as a third provincial governor stepped down following massive nationwide demonstrations. Nuri al-Maliki's remarks came as protest organizers called for a fresh set of rallies on Friday, March 4, to mark a year since landmark parliamentary elections that led to nine months of political impasse, with several key ministerial posts still unfilled. Demonstrations across Iraq in recent weeks, the biggest of which were held last Friday, have railed against poor public services, rampant corruption and high unemployment. "Mr. Maliki
specified a 100-day period after which an assessment of the work of the
government and ministries will be carried out to find out the level of their
individual success or failure in performing their jobs," a statement from
his office said, specifying that the 100-day period began on Sunday. New
appeals went out for fresh rallies across Iraq next Friday, billed as a
"Day of Regret" by organizers on social networking site Facebook, to
mark one year since Iraq's
It took politicians more than nine months to form a government after those polls, and even now, several key positions, such as the ministers of interior, defense and planning, remain unfilled. Last Friday's protests took place in at least 17 cities, bringing thousands of Iraqis onto the streets, with the biggest gathering in Baghdad where around 5,000 demonstrators rallied in central Tahrir Square. A total of 16 people were killed and more than 130 wounded as a result of clashes on the day, with Maliki promising on Sunday that investigations would be launched. He vowed that those responsible, whether they be security forces or demonstrators, would be brought to justice.” (“Maliki Gives Cabinet 100 days to shape up or face ‘changes’” – France 24 – International News, 27 Feb 2011) (Note: Further demonstrations are planned for every Friday until “something gets done around here!”) Coupled with all of Iraq’s frustrations – despite its enormous oil reserves (See here: Iraq has 350 billion barrels of proven reserves, world’s largest - Wikipedia) – is its inability to present an exchangeable currency to the world, which would greatly assist her populous but Iraq’s ineptitude by its greedy power brokers continues to thwart such a possibility; consequently, its masses wallow in 70% unemployment, brown-outs and a sewage system which is virtually non-existent (no wonder they’re rioting in Iraq). Some claim (See: Lindsey Williams: The Energy Non-Crisis) that an “oil conspiracy” exists wherein the USA plans to “bankrupt” on its horrendous National Debt during 2012 (after oil reaches $200 a barrel), collapse the dollar, and base a new “dollar system” upon its own enormous reserves of oil (as revealed in The Energy Non-Crisis); therefore, is the US somehow deliberately impeding Iraq’s ability to revalue their currency? As bizarre as this may sound – in certain circles it has amazing plausibility. One thing is most certain – Iraq is a decrepit state which under “democracy” is unmanageable – it longs for a strong leader, a veritable dictator – and, guess what? - That is precisely what they have! Likewise, this same Commercial Empire could, for “security reasons” put a stranglehold on Iraq’s new wealth – plain and simple…together with America’s Alaskan and Mid-Western oil reserves, as well as other off-shore gushers, could supply its own oil needs for the next century; especially, with new technology to convert its mass reserves of oil shale (estimated at 1.5 trillion barrels). Suffice all of this to say – the great Commercial Empire of the “Latter Years” for its own security and economic interests has the full intention of indefinitely staying in Iraq – she will be well-positioned to inquire of Gog: “Have you come down for a spoil?” The incessant squabbling of Iraq’s fractured ethnic and religious bodies – along with her abundant oil reserves – demands that the USA must maintain a huge military presence in this ostensibly failed state to buttress the West’s defenses against the “Prince of Persia” and guarantee that the Ships of Tarshish will maintain their commercial interests throughout the Middle East…but the day comes when as this quote from Lord of the Rings fulfills its prescient message: “Aragorn: Hold your ground, hold your ground! Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!” ….And stand they shall, most unfortunately, on that day – “in the Latter Years – At the time of the end” when “the King of the South shall attack him; and the King of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he (i.e., the King of the West – he who captains the Ships of Tarshish); and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through….He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown….He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the Land of Egypt shall not escape….He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels…yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him…(for) ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’” (Daniel 11:40-43, 45; Revelation 11:15)
