Calling Forth the
Remnant
by Stella Paterson |
The “principal of the remnant” is an undeniable truth of Scripture –
“many are called but few are chosen!” Why this is so in the Church
Age has everything to do with the working of the Cross of Christ in
the life of the believer – “take up your cross and follow me . . . I
die daily . . . the preaching of the cross is to them that perish
foolishness but to us who believe it is the power of God unto
salvation” – and that “salvation” demands the transformation of the
soul and dying to the flesh.

Dawning -The Next Great Move of God
by Kenneth Uptegrove |
Gloom and doom this is not. The Church awaits her finest hour – yes,
in the midst of apostasy, deception and even persecution as the Last
Days culminate in the stark contrast between the children of light and
the children of darkness. Persecution and suffering – peseverence and
preservation – all play a major role in the preparation of the
greatest revival and spiritual awakening humankind has ever
witnessed. This is the Church triumphant – just as Christ triumphed
on the cross, even so, believers are being called to embrace spiritual
power and consequent victory through Him Who loved us and washed us in
His Own blood! |

Gone Fishin'
by
Jerri Tuck |
Twenty-two chapters await the reader of
a book (yes, my sister beat me to it), nearly unique in Christendom –
just try to find one – where true stories of souls being brought to
Christ are recorded in a way that brings the gospel of the grace of
God home to everyone.
We’re pleased to introduce these
testimonials to you – to ignite the fires of evangelism within the
Church…for we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the
power of God unto salvation to all them that believe! This and many
more such testimonies of rebirth will be found in Gone Fishin’
– it will be difficult to put it down because each story will call
every believer to share their faith in belief that “some believed.” |

Man vs. Boy?
by
Ken Ventura |
Ken
Ventura strikes at perhaps the crux of today’s sociological confusion
and deterioration – especially in the West – wherein the battle lines
have been drawn between “Man vs boy?” The Scriptures shed abundant
light on the subject – a whole new understanding and charge are
embedded in the commonality of the phrase: Stand up like a man! But
Ken goes further, much further – he delves into the very essence of
the “Son of Man” and projects a whole new community of believers in
what is termed “band of brothers” – these are the Lord’s “companions”
– “quit you like men – be strong” – this is the call to this
generation . . . an absolute must read.

Hospital for
Sinners |
Hospital
for Sinners will outrage, incense and upset your little world of make-believe
Christianity to its core! Everything is not what you think it to
be—and, Tom Wright, a former Viet Nam veteran, graduate from Jerry
Falwell’s Liberty University and now a prison chaplain since 1998 for
Timberlake Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, will most assuredly
rattle your perceptions of those who make merchandise of the Word of
God . . . and do so with unmitigated gall! Once it be known the
riches that these shepherds have heaped up unto themselves, a
disquieting disgust will well up within your spirit (if you have any
fear of God left in you) and you, like Tom Wright, will be forced to
do something about it to alert the Body of Christ to the wolves whose
exteriors are that of sheep, but whose self-proclaimed commission is
the on-going fleecing of the flock!

Calvin on the
Ropes
by Douglas R. Shearer |
Just when you thought that enough throughout the ages has been written
on the doctrinal struggles between Calvinism and Armenianism – every
theological rendition between the two systems having been utterly
exhausted – here comes perhaps one of the freshest pronouncements
decifered from Roman 1:16 to 4:5 you’ll ever read. Amazing – someone
has finally articulated what appears to be “high ground” in the
disputation – this is a stunner for every theologian stymied by the
rigidity and confusion held by these seemingly incompatible systems. |
